I think it would be fun to keep 10, and only have 2 covered bottles. So you have to be willing to take your chances that one of the covered bottles is better than something you can see, or play it safe and keep what you see.

 

yeah, i like the covered bootles idea. not sure you need to do 6 and 6 though. maybe better 8 and 4. i dont know, maybe there isnt a right answer to the number. interested to see what people put in there covered. i think of it like lets make a deal. you could get a great beer or a shit beer (no one here would put in a shit beer, or would i???). my vote is to use wrapping paper so we would know if someone peeked or not . i, for one, would never do such a thing, but @zekeman17 is a mischievous little bastard, as proven by his "made up ice tea guzzling roommate story to win some wicked week story". i know its not a made up, but thats what im going with out of pure jealousy.

Without going through past pages, I remember @anticipation23, @Dicers, and @Houser being 3 of the 4 who made requests, and if my memory serves me it was @phishbfm that was the 4th (not in that order though, if it matters). Could you guys confirm this, including (if I'm wrong) whoever requested but I didn't just list?

Those of us going will figure out who is sending to whom once we see who actually had a chance to purchase any. Also, while I'm talking about it; if I can't make it myself, I'd love to get a bottle from one of you guys too.

Or just take 9 and replace whatever type they were?

 

8 uncovered, 4 covered. Take 10 of the 12 regardless of type. Just replace what you take. Seems like that is the majority opinion us far.

 

I'd say 8 and 4, take up to 10 of WTFYW and replace WTFY take.

 

OK I've decided I'm not even going to F&M today, after adding a day out of town explicitly for beer, and with boxes landing and my own boxes on their way, I need to take one for the team and make the Mrs. happy. So (if they run out today) I apologize to those I said I'd get bottles for, hopefully Steve and Jeff can take care of you guys satisfactorily, and if they can and have any left after that, I hope they'll have one for me too.
