I doubt that trade happens often.

Depending on when people got their T25, I'm not sure a Cherry Rye would do it 1-4-1. I had my friend pick up a few for me at Toronado the week after the initial release, and they were $40 each, which is twice what I paid for Cherry Rye. Add in the lower bottle count and more limited distribution, and I'd think T25 would be significantly harder to trade for.

Obviously RR/Toronado locals would feel somewhat differently, but I value my $40 beer that I'm going to have to have shipped across the country quite a bit more than my $20 beer that I picked up from a shelf just a few miles from home.

makes sense woosterbill... I was a bit surprised by the Cherry Rye response as I thought T25 had more value.

A lot of people got T25 for $25 too and cherry rye does trade pretty high and retailed for 25-30 so I guess you could put ISO up and find out

It's really not clear where most bottles were sold. Toronado easily could've sold more. Didn't RR only sell 100 cases?

Something around that number. No you can't say for sure it was just an assumption on my end

It seems to make sense to me, I mean 1200 bottle release that was brewery only/Toronado limited that sold out almost immediately every day of the staggered release weekend.

For a substantially worse, widely distributed, off shelf beer with at least 5 times the bottle count.

Now we just wait for the Chicago whole foods kids to show up with their alligator tears, making some wild comparisons.
