(FOX NEWS) - The Cal-Mexican fast food chain has announced in a press release the roll out of its very own beer – the Beach Bell. The brew will be a Mexican-style amber lager that was created in conjunction with Four Sons Brewing, a craft brewer located in Huntington Beach, CA.

    No not a joke.

Interesting but not something I would take a jumping leap towards even if every TB started serving it. Taco Bell is on the bottom 5 list of restaurants I've ever had the displeasure of visiting.

Are they going to sell it from Taco Bell? Wouldn't mind getting one if it was cheap. Also bring back the naked chicken chalupa for God's sake

Sounds like it's a draught-only product sold at just one location:

Phhhhtt! That's nonsense then, that's not news. There are plenty of bars across the country, even chains with several locations, that have their own beers contract brewed. Sometimes it's a reworking or rebranding of something the brewery already makes and sometimes it's an actual new beer. Regardless, if Beach Bell (stupid name in my opinion) is only available at one location who cares?

Taco Bell is the PBR of restaurants. Sure you'd rather have something actually good, but as far as the cheap stuff goes it's better than most.

The last time I asked my wife to pick up some Taco Bell, she told me the employees had an argument and were fighting in front of her. And the food is terrible. How can the beer be good?

I heard they're positioning to sell beer on site, I'm guessing the drive thru will have to go though for that. I read that somewhere, but I can't recall the source.

Stable Craft is making something that would be at home being served in a Taco Bell, or at least, that was my first thought upon seeing this post.

The Taco Bell Cantina is a new concept for them. They're supposed to be opening one in SE Michigan soon. It's a full service sit down restaurant with a full bar apparently. Makes some sense to private label a beer for it.

I happen to like Taco Bell better than most Mexican Restaurants, go figure. Don't care if it's authentic or not, actually it's as authentic as most Italian resturauants but I like it, Americanized Italian restaurants not so much.

Can Taco Bell truly be described as a "restaurant"? I mean it technically fits the legal definition of a place where meals are prepared, but given that the beef being used is near prison-grade levels, I can't say it rises above the classification of Fast Food. Mexican Restaurants on the other hand at least cook their food relatively fresh?

I fuckn love Taco Bell. Its far superior to pretty much any other, nationwide fast food restaurant.

T-Bell haters: have you tried their breakfast?!? Spoiler alert- it’s incredible... lunch/dinner is pretty damn good, but they breakfast is the best in the game.

Their meat is the lowest grade allowable for human consumption. It can't legally be called beef. That doesn't bode well for a beer they have their hands in.

It's fast food I guess, but I still like it better than most local Mexican resturauants. The exception was a little place we hit in San Antonio, I had the enchiladas verda that was mind blowingly good, unfortunately the local stuff isn't.

Taco bell is convenient. That's about it. Those of you saying it's amazing must not ever cook lol. It's pretty easy to surpass even with basic cooking knowledge.

I cook all the damn time and we hardly ever eat out. But I do love me some Taco Bell...!

Sure, it's "easy to surpass" at home... But just because you can doesn't mean you always want to (get ingredients, prep, cook, etc...). Sometimes when I went a few beefy nacho or chipotle grillers, I just go buy some and tear them up with epic amounts of their sauce.

Well, it could be worse (for those who dislike 'evil' AB). Taco Bell could have asked the Specialty Brewing Group of Anheuser-Busch to brew the beer for them like Bahama Breeze did with Aruba Red.

Brewed exclusively for Bahama Breeze Caribbean style restaurant chain by the Specialty Brewing Group of Anheuser-Busch."
