I accidentally tapped keg first, before opening the pressure from c02...its been a while since using my kegerator, and forgot you should always open valve for c02 first and set pressure, then tap the keg.....Is it a huge deal or am I thinking to deep, and its fine?

You're thinking too deep and it's fine
As long as there are no leaks, nothing bad will happen if you don't turn on the CO2 first ...or ever, for that matter (until you start pouring, of course). Yes, it's easier to set the pressure accurately before you connect it to the keg, but that's more for convenience.
