We have some 2 month old if you can't find fresher...
No worries- this got taken care of by a generous Madison BA. An European BA is going to be thrilled to finally get to try some Zombie Dust!
If anyone in the Madison is still looking for CW La Petite Mort, the little shop in Sun Prairie has 24 bottles of it. I have no idea why they got so much of it.
Jenifer Street Market has some as well.
Who has tried Petit Mort? I ran into some at Village Liquors in Cottage Grove, but I also saw CW BBBW, which is easily my favorite WI beer so I had to buy another 4 pack. That beer is seriously heaven.
I need to pick up some more BBBW. Thought it had a little heat compared to past years when i couldnt keep any in my fridge, so I'd like to sit it down for a while and see what happens.
I had it. Should clarify that I had the BA version. If you want big bourbon heat up front; then it is for you. If I were to give it to you blind I'd be shocked if you had a clue to what the base beer was. It's not bad, but you can't taste any of the Weizenbock. It'd be great to try the non BA Weizenbock.
^ the man above is correct. I love bourbon but its hard to pick up other things from this beer
I just picked up 2 growlers of golden nugget and sue, anyone interested in an IP trade BM me.
TG, about 6 hours ago.
Good news from TG!
Hopefully that means more than 300 bottles of MD and KBBS every year. MD was amazing but the effort it takes to get it totally turns me off to it.
I'd just like to be able to even try it without having to give up my left testicle.
Um, what? Didn't save any Cantillon to trade?
Anyone see any CW coffee stout in Madison yet? Or is that 2 weeks pretty accurate (I think I saw rio say that in a different post). I'm also looking for CW barrel aged scotch ale but I'm not sure if that's even being bottled. It seems to only go in kegs every time they make it.
Barrel aged Scotch ale should be closer to fall or late 2013 from my understanding. Coffee Stout will be a couple weeks even though it sounds like Milwaukee already has it.
Thanks for the info.
I'm not trading any of them! I'm planning on drinking or sharing them.
Wondering when this is hitting Madison...
(From "Central Waters Scotch Ale in Bourbon Barrels" Thread)
I'll be looking forward to trying some! If it was just bottled and going to be released at the brewery this weekend, I would suspect we will see it as early as mid-late next week.
What a month! The sour brown ale. The strawberry rhubarb beer. And now scotch ale in bourbon barrels! WOW! Did I miss anything else being released?
And Brewhouse coffee stout!
CW Brewhouse Stout, next week! At least for Madison.
Great Taste of the Midwest pre-party tap list at Brickhouse BBQ.
Looks mighty fine with CW and Shorts.
Already on my agenda!
I wish I had $100 cash to just blow on beer that night!
Same here. Look forward to the India Spruce Pilsner and of course CW special releases. Just hope I'm first in line
But then how will your liver recover in time for the actual Great Taste?
It looks like Toppling Goliath is bringing up some Morning Delight on Friday 8/9 to Dexter's Pub. That is very nice of them to share!
Geez I made a commitment to go to BBQ Brickhouse and now this?! Fifteen or MorningDelight????
I would recommend going to Brickhouse or Glass Nickel for the Founders event. Definitely not Dexter's. No one go to Dexter's
Psuedo is on at Brickhouse...... Need more bottles thogh
Trixie's just got a nice pair of beers in.
I believe with a little hustle and some good luck, you can do both! Fifteen taps at 7 and Morning Delight is tapped at 9. That should give you plenty of time to walk/stumble from Brickhouse over to Dexter's.
Walking three and a half miles would take quite a while.
This is true, stumbling would take even longer. Cab? DD? Nevertheless, it seems possible to do both.
The transporter would be most efficient. Beam me up Scotty.
Picked up Mango there and Alesmith Grand Cru, Horny Devil, and Speedway at Woodmans SP.
May do a bottle share fri night at the Hyatt if anyone's game
