I think I am done after this box. I didn’t sign up for the hazies of the month club or the barely beer fruit and lactose bombs.
Bourbon OE popped up today and I had to start a box. Now wishing I pulled the trigger on some of the Fremonts that were up last week. Hopefully they'll cycle back in.
Bourbon OE popped up on mine last week and grabbed 2. Smog cities barrel game is solid. Mexican coffee cake has not hit my feed. Had a few garagiste means that I passed on. Just trying to limit my spending here.
It was there for a few hours in waxed cans. That just seemed wrong. For $50, give me a pretty waxed bottle.
Interesting to hear you had it last week, bourbon OE just hit my feed yesterday and only lasted for a couple of hours. I'm excited to try it.
It's bloody fantastic, a world-class barleywine IMHO. I bought three. Then another one when I saw it was still available...which in my region was for well over a day. That's why I signed up for Tavour, to get world-class beers that I'd have to travel for otherwise. Great drop!
Meanwhile, 6 of 8 beers in my feed are IPAs. 3 of which are from a brewery that is within an hour of my house (across state lines). I sent them an email about their selection. I will be curious to see if I get a response before I delete the app.
My last 3 shipments have been delayed. The one on the way was shipped Wednesday, Jul 15th, and is spending the weekend in Rock Springs, Wyoming. Delivery is estimated July 27th or 28th.I understand their volume problem, but I find this stuff to be unacceptable. I deleted the app yesterday.
Was able to grab my first black is beautiful beer From tavour . Blueberry, blackberry, maple from Montana.
I've been checking multiple times everyday and have yet to see it, maybe it wont be offered in my neck of the woods
I gotta say I’m surprised at the number of comments about people having bad things happen. I’ve used Tavour four times now, three of them being in the last two mos. I have yet to have a bad experience with them. Haven’t had any beers missing or orders delayed or damaged boxes. Been perfect for me so far. What I like(and didn’t even realize until about a week ago) is that they charge for the beers right when you add them to your crate instead of all at once when the crate closes. It enables me to order more since I don’t have to be able to afford the whole order at once. So as of now I have no reason to look for another beer app or website. Good job Tavour.
No response yet. I did email on a Friday afternoon so I was expecting a response today, but nothing. I'll email again if I don't hear something tomorrow.
