Has anyone seen 2021 BA Dark Star yet? Happy to see Deth's Tar yesterday.

Nearing the time of year when you could just harness up the dogs and sled on up there. Should have a strong appetite for big stouts after the trip as well and fewer limitations on your carry on for the way home

Cafe Deth just popped up on my feed. First beer on Tavour I've ever maxed out on!

I grabbed the Supermassive Cafe Deth from a few weeks back. I am actually much more partial to any of the various Jacket/Ryeway barleywines they produce, so hoping some of those show up!

No 2021 Fremont on my feed yet, but it's come and gone locally. Naturally I stocked up on BADS. Cafe Deth popped earlier in the week. I've also had 2 rounds of the 4x Anchorage stouts and then a secret stash of 3x Anchorage stouts pop along with a hopping frog 4x and bomb 4x in the last two weeks. I caved on querido y perdido this morning. $8 pints is doable for me.

Interesting. I saw the 4x Anchorage stout pack once -- what was the 3x pack?

A 2020 vintage bundle of Fremont's BBADS and B-Bomb just popped up on my feed. I guess this partially makes up for the 2021 Rusty Nail that they had to remove from my box yesterday, but I still would have preferred 1x Rusty Nail...

Just got an email that the Cycle Saturday bottles I purchased a few weeks ago are no longer available. Frustrating because that and Friday were the reason I started a new crate for the first time on several months. Sounds like this happens a fair amount.

No Deep Woods in MN. Cafe Deth did show up across the border in WI once. The local place right across the river is one of the few WI hard-core craft beer store for quite a long ways & they know it...& sometimes charge obscenely high prices. I've seen secondary prices there for desirable releases.

The 3x was missing the wired stout iirc. Saw that "rare" drop of "vintage" Fremont. After reading the description I was like "bitch, I've got like 5 of each of those". Anyone see that BBA OE?

Wait, did your 4x Anchor pack have Tired But Wired? Interesting if so since mine consisted of Into Nothingness, The Explorer, Doomed, and Sent by Liars. I would've preferred TbW over any of those I think.

I saw BBA OE pop up earlier this summer as @DIM mentioned but haven't seen it recently either.

BBA oe dropped on mine today. As for Anchorage TbW was one of the 4x. The other three were Banana, hazelnut, and a Mexican chocolate sounding stout. The names elude my memory.

Interesting - I did the same thing (picked up Friday and Saturday) and got the same email, except Friday was no longer available. I replied to the email telling them I was disappointed and they waived shipping at least!

Mine is set to be delivered any day and the same thing happened to me with the Weldworks bundle that came up yesterday and the 2019 B-Bomb today but fortunately for my wallet both were sold out by the time I saw them.

Two more emails this week that my previously purchased bottles are not available “likely due to breakage”. First it was Cycle Saturday and now both Fremont 12th Anniversary and Supermassive Cafe Deth, which was the only Secret Stash I can recall ever being offered.

This is 3 out of roughly 10 bottles/bundles purchased for my current crate in the past couple months. Very disappointing and they have also not responded to either of the frustrated emails I have sent them asking them what is going on (albeit most recent was just yesterday).

Is this just the norm for them or what? Feels particularly shady that it has been the bottles that I know sold out very quickly so even more likely they just oversold.

It's so disappointing to know there's people out there who want these beers enough to pay a premium fee and they just sit here( Los Angeles) on shelves :cry:
The shelves at my spots are lined with BBomb,Rusty,12th Anniv, DS . B5K does tend to sell faster but one place i visited recently still had 7.
Leads me to wonder if businesses like tavour contributed to the slowing of trading beers

    Tavour is using UPS!

My crate closed yesterday and almost immediately an email from UPS came with tracking info. I personally never had an issue with the carrier in my area, but I know some of you have. I wonder if this change is permanent? Will UPS be used everywhere?

That would be fantastic. I haven't had any serious problems with my local delivery companies, but they're certainly slow & at times don't seem to know where the box is or when it's coming. UPS would be a vast improvement.

They've been using UPS for the last leg in DC for at least the last couple of years. Only issue I've had is that they deliver to UPS on Friday, and the crate sits all weekend. I think they've made changes recently to improve shipping times, but I haven't had a new crate in a while.

Sorry to hear this, but also kind of happy to hear I'm not alone. My last box has been lost for almost a month at this point, and I have had zero luck getting Tavour to respond to my enquiries. For context, my boxes have typically arrived within 1 - 2 days of departing Tavour (I live in Portland, hence the very quick TaT). I first contacted my local delivery service (GLS) by phone about two and a half weeks ago when it was very clear something had gone wrong, and they told me to contact Tavour, claiming they had not received the package (which does appear to be at least somewhat supported by the tracking info online). Contacted Tavour through the support section of their website, and Tavour forwarded my email back to GLS asking for assistance regarding my box. Nothing, radio silence. Followed-up...nothing. Followed-up again...still nothing. I finally just submitted a new "ticket"/support email through the Tavour website last Thursday. Still nothing. This is really frustrating and disheartening, because up until now (I've been using Tavour for about 18 - 20 months) I've had nothing but a pleasant experience using their service, and they've always quickly resolved any issues in the past.

At this point I'd even just accept a Tavour credit for my lost box, because if they can at least offer that resolution I'd be willing to give the app another try. Until then, I guess I'm done with Tavour. Which is a bummer, because again, I've had nothing but a pleasant experience with them up until this, and it was a fun way to get beer not available in my area.

TLDR: Tavour has been less than helpful with my package that has been lost for nearly a month at this point.

No surprises here. Even when there was communication Tavour didn't hold up their offer when my box went missing. They were like " we found your shit. It's been sitting on a dock in 100 degree weather for weeks. Want it back? Give us our money".

Well shoot, that's definitely disheartening (how many times can I use that word in reference to Tavour?), but I guess at this point kind of the vibe I've been getting based on their lack of a response. Honestly, I'd almost accept an email from them saying "too bad so sad, not our fault," because at least that would be a "resolution" of sorts. It would be a less than desirable resolution of course, and I would never use the service again, but at least I'd know where things stand.

Just want to close the loop on this. Tavour refunded me my money for the lost beer, so I'm satisfied. They even apologized for how long it took to get this taken care of, so they've definitely retained a customer.
