You can always push out the closing date. I did that a lot with my most recent crate, and now have 74 beers showing up today...

LOL. People paid $180 for 2010-12 Abyss vertical. Enjoy that!

I wish I knew those people. I've got some 2010 and 2015 Jubels that I'd gladly sell them!

Why the LOL's...that's only $60 each for 8-10 year old stout, storage conditions unknown ... cheap at half the price! (well, maybe 1/4 the price...) :astonished:

That’s absurd. And it was gone in 5 minutes.

Exactly! There is no way those are going to be good!

I bought one of the Fremont bundles late last year (I think? it also could have just be pre cover which I believe was 8 years, or is it months, ago now) but it was 17, 18, 19 dark star, which was perfect - not too old - and I think it was like $85 for the bundle. Not all of them are bad, but at some point older =/= better ... unless they've got some old 2010 3 fonteinen laying around ...

Me too, & the beer ages like a champ. Always have. Oldest one I've sampled is 10 years old & it was only just beginning to fade.

    But those prices. Stupid.

Unfortunately the Dark Star bundle just sold out in under 5 minutes. I missed it despite seeing it at 5 minutes after the notification.

Same. And not a terrible price on it either.

Been up for me since Saturday. Too much great stuff around to spend $33 on a 375ml for a non-BA stout. Hell, I bought a 375ml bottle of Black Agnes, 4 pack of Deth’s Tar, and 2 pack of Benthic at the store today. Each one cheaper than that one bottle

Yeah, same here. Been up way longer than the last oak aged beer that wasn't barrel aged (Sacrifice). I was much happier to get the Dark Charge set for about 2x a single Tired. I loved Ten Years, but it cured me of overpaying for Anchorage unless it's a serious barrel bomb.

I’ll be honest and I picked up a few. Anchorage’s stout game is very solid and ten years, blessed, wendigo were all phenomenal so not expecting any less. Striking out on all TG lotteries this year and the last 2 forager lotteries has made me stout empty lately. Can’t make all the Chicago releases so missing out on them as well. Only reason I’m trying to win BCBS lotteries is I have to go through Rockford area going to st Louis to get BBT (won no proxy) and figured it’s best bet for me to get anniversary and birthday.

but yea 33 is steep but still cheaper than going to Alaska and being Covid tested 3x
