Looking at their web site that seems like a good price, they sell 750 bottles for $18 at the brewery. Wish they shipped as the DH Apricot Saison reads wonderful. Enjoy
Crate shipped last Monday. Usually takes 1 week to me but it was delayed. Got this email today. "We are following up on your most recent Tavour order. Unfortunately, the snowstorm in the Midwest last week caused a delay in getting your order to you. Your package has arrived in Orlando, but our freight carrier experienced additional delays due to the high volume of orders the distribution center had to process as a result of the storm. However, your package is scheduled to be delivered to Sonic tomorrow! We cannot thank you enough for bearing with us while we get this all sorted out. As for the quality of your beers, they were in a climate-controlled facility during this time, and so should still be as delicious as ever. However, if you ever crack open a beer and it's not up to standard for whatever reason, let us know and we'll be more than happy to refund you. If you have any questions or need any further assistance getting these beers, please don't hesitate to reach out and we'll be happy to help as best we can." I never complained and a 2 day delay is no big deal but it looks like they are taking the customer support with delivery seriously.
It sold out pretty quickly. Luckily I had my phone right in front of me when the notification popped up.
Abraxas 2020 just hit my app for the 5pm drop. I'd probably jump on it if I didn't already have a bottle in the fridge. Those 750s take up a ton of space.
I never got the notification so I missed out. I do get the Secret Stashes bucause I am in the top tier (I spend too much money) but for some reason I don't get notifications for them. I get notifications for everything else.
I don’t completely understand their notification system, but the same thing happens to me with the secret stash. But I’m more okay with that than the randoms that show up if you’re actively checking and then later disappear. For example, I just opened the app on a whim for goat and saw PB&J Tawny Port Medianoche. I quickly bought one and then 5 minutes later it wasn’t listed in the app. I’m expecting when my crate ships to have that mysteriously disappear as well.
I’ve had that happen. Sometimes when stuff sells out like that it disappears and sometimes it hangs out with a gray sold out. If it’s in your crate it may or may not show up
Got an email saying the delivery service they are using is no longer available for my zip code. But we found a new one so don't worry. I see the old delivery service drive by everyday. They must of found a cheaper option. Cannot wait to find out what kind of clowns these people will be.
Or they got way too many complaints about the original service provider (or the service provider was failing to meet their service level agreement) and decided to change.
Tavour has suspended my account as spee-dee has stopped service with them and they have not found a suitable replacement so I imagine my time with tavour is done. I haven’t ordered anything in over a month because I’ve been cutting back on my beer given the availability of beer due to proxies as well as local options. Luckily I had my vanilla ADWTD sent recently or I’d be pissed.
I've seen those come and go, but I've definitely seen regular drops appear and disappear during the day too. Sometimes early morning, sometimes around lunch. I've never seen it happen in the evening, but I don't really mess with it much after I get off work.
Huh. I just always assume that when it disappears it must be a secret stash. I'm over the all neipa and joose offerings. I keep hoping for some big dark bastards coming through. Grabbed that BABSDA from Anchorage. Hope to see more soon.
Tavor, Craft Shack are great for getting beers from the west coast. Half Time Beverages get you b eers from the east coast. I am in Illinois so that takles care of the Midwest. These three companies have kept me going during the pandemic. Finished 2020 with 1270 new beers - 2019 was my best at over 1600. I retired 4 years ago and me and the wife ( who also likes craft beer ) have taken 2-3 road trips a year, Covering 1000 t0 3000 miles a trip. . Last year we visted over 55 breweries. Getting back to Tavor craft shack and Half Time : the prices are not much more than going to a craft beer bar. And not like beer of the month , you pick your beers, Besides these distributers . I stop at Brass Tap in Orland park about once a month and alwys can get 4 -5 new beers each time Last year even with the pandemic close down I was able to rack up over 150 new beers there.
I life in DFW and it usually takes one to one-and-a-half weeks to receive my Tavour crate. I'm pleasantly surprised that the crate that just closed out this past Sunday is scheduled to arrive tomorrow AM. Every time my local delivery service has confirmed a delivery window, they've made it on time, which I appreciate. With that said, I'll be stepping away from Tavour momentarily. Plenty of beer on hand to drink and then I'm getting a bunch more so Tavour just seems unnecessary right now.
