I'd love to see Austin Beer Works make it's way to Dallas, though I can only dream. I've heard they have no plans for expansion outside Austin.

Something along the lines of Jester King sours will be said in this thread.

We don't currently have plans to distribute outside of Austin, but we also don't have plans to not distribute outside of Austin.
Expanding distribution isn't something we're philosophically opposed to, we just don't want to do so at the expense of our home market. Once we can make enough beer, we'd love to branch out a little bit.

I'd love to see Karbach make its way to Dallas. Get me some of that Hop Delusion!

Gonna mildly hijack your thread to mention some beers I'd love to see in New Mexico:

    - Real Ale
    - Jester King
    - Austin Beerworks
    - St. Arnold

Not too long ago we got Adelbert's, which I've been appreciating, but I'd love to see Texan beers flood our liquor stores the way Texans flood our ski resorts. Hehe.

Very understandable, great love for your home city. Thank you for the reply.

So is it mainly production/size factor for when it comes to breweries expanding out of their home city?

It is for us, but not necessarily for other breweries. There are many breweries smaller than us who distribute outside of their home market.

The rest of Karbach's beers (we get their reg lineup), Freetail, Jester King's sours (and yes I will bitch about that every day until it happens, I don't care), Austin Beer Works.

Lone Pint is coming soon from what I understand.

I'll be content to start with Lone Pint.

We get a little Karbach and Austin Beer Works - but it seems to be just a few bottle shop owners who make the drive to go and pick it up every now and again. Would like to see some of their more limited and seasonal up here though.

Another vote for Lone Pint though.

It's gotta tough dealing with the sparse distribution DFW sees. Pobrecitos!
