I didn't want Lager Fest in Cyberspace to end!

Big THANKS to everyone for joining us! And a special thanks to everyone who joined BArmy on Discord. Adding that element to our virtual beer fests was an absolute game changer and so much fun. As @FBarber mentioned this morning: "Discord gave it more of a fest feel since we were actually all 'talking' throughout the fest." :fire:

Thanks again to @HalfTime for being an awesome partner in beer and ensuring that we all got our box of lagers on time. Thanks to the fest team (Britt, Claire, Kathryn, Talia), and our mod team for helping out on Discord. We couldn't do these without you! :heavymetal:

And the beers! The beers were all exceptional! Special thanks to Vinnie (Russian River), Adam (Urban Chestnut), Jack (Jack's Abby), Teddy (Wibby), Jack (von Trapp), Chris (Wolf's Ridge), Steven (Indie), Chip and Dusan (Live Oak), Joran (Halfway Crooks), Chris and John (Enegren), Ryan (Schilling), Jenny and Hagen (Dovetail) for helping us fill our box of lagers, joining us, and dropping some incredible lager knowledge on all of us! :beers: :nerd:

And last, but not least, thanks to my good friend and cohost Edgar (@BeerThugLife)! Love you, bro! :hugging:

Amazing fest, amazing beers, and awesome discussions on discord, including the pre and post show hangouts in the discord stage.

Another awesome fest. Well done Todd and team!

Thanks to you @Todd, @el_bobbo (the f-bomb maniac -- loved his co-host banter!) and everyone else from BA that made this happen. And Half Time -- great service!

Personally, I didn't do much of the Discord interaction -- to distracting with everything else I was juggling besides the live fest feeds, but certainly keep it going for future projects if that's what the beer people want...

Yes! Timing might be tight, but a fest fest (Oktoberfest/Marzen) would be dope!

This was my first Fest with BA, I enjoyed it, and loved hearing from the brewers. Loved Vinnie, Enegren, and Dovetail Jenny. It was awesome Edgar was hosting with you. I would participate in another Fest in Cyberspace. It worked out great for me.

I'm a huge hophead but this lager fest really rekindled my appreciation of lagers. Please continue these virtual fests!

Great selection of brewers. I just wish more of them would sell beers on the east coast in the mid-Atlantic area.

Edgar is the BEST! Please start distributing your beers to the east coast!

I wonder if next time for the videos, you could play the brewer's video during the intermissions - like a movie trailer sort of thing.

Thanks again, these fests are great!

+1 for Fest Fest, and that has to be the name. Too good. I've really enjoyed all the beers so far, and I couldn't make both sessions this weekend so the fact that I can watch them on demand is awesome. I'm going to tune in while I polish off the rest of the beers this week.

Really enjoyed the Lagerfest. Looking forward to another cyber fest. Maybe in the fall or December around the holidays? A winter themed fest?

    Two feedback items:

Vimeo hasn't been great. It's a pain to cast it on the TV screen and the feed has been glitchy at times. Had to reload it many times

Consider bringing in more interactivity. Maybe bring in the Discord feed at times? Or have other ways for BAs to chime in?

    Thanks!

Thanks for putting this and the other virtual fests on this past year! Really enjoyed all of them and even my wife participated in the Lager Fest!

I hope you keep having a couple per year, as this is the most likely way I have to participate.

Maybe this is already under consideration, but why not do a hybrid type where you do the virtual Fest from the face-to-face Fest? The logistics may be a bit tricky but it might be fun!

Todd, my wife Pat & I have done Session 1, in two afternoons, 3 beers each day so far. I was leery of this new for me format, but wow. As you know, I have attended many Boston fests, Belgian, German, American Craft, Extreme, etc. As much as I loved those, being able to hear the brewer, and you talk about the beers we are drinking is really great, compared to walking away from a table with a sample, and not much knowledge.
In addition, the 6 beers we have so far were each fantastic. I am already saying to myself, "drink more lagers", and you may know that I am a hops guy. The two pils were super tasty. The lime beer was surprising tasty (I would never have ordered that for myself). The Dunkel was just insanely delicious, and the Rauch, another beer I would have never ordered for myself, was really great.
I am so looking forward to the next 6 beers, and the session! I could get used to this format, so keep it up! This is the first time I have "met" Edgar, but he cracks me up. Great work. Best to Candice!
    Loving Lagers!

Thanx Todd and crew for putting this together! GREAT job!!

This was my first Cyber Beer fest and it was really enjoyable! Being a Lager / Pilsner guy made it even moreso!!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the brewery personnel and their knowledge was impressive to say the least!

    Thanx again!!! LAGER IS LIFE!!!

    Prost!!

Lager Fest was great. Really enjoyed the entirety of the box. Helped me realize that I've been drinking way too many IPAs. It's not January, but I'm starting a "Brew Year's Resolution" in August: giving the entire beer list a fair shake and ordering some more lagers. Already looking forward to my new perspective.

    Thanks for putting this together.
