    Nope.
    1. Rheinlander from Rainier. Got discontinued mid 90's
    2. Heidelberg Lager. Got discontinued from Pabst same time as Falstaff.

Red, White, & Blue from Pabst. I remember a few sips here and there as a real youngster. Pabst stopping making it in the mid 80s.

Yes, tasted my uncle's Budweiser while he was grilling. At the time it was more awful than it is today.

I remember swiping a few cans of Red Dog at a family party when I was about 9. I honestly have no idea if it's still being made, I haven't seen it in years.

Nope. Coors Light is something I haven't had in close to a decade or so.

My dad used to work as a mechanic in the Schaefer brewery in Brooklyn, NY before they shut down and moved to Allentown, PA. He used to bring home cases of the stuff and drank them out of a tall fancy pilsener glass. Gotta love the ad slogan, "Schaefer is the one beer to have when you're having more than one."

Pabst's Red, White and Blue (which actually dated from the pre-Prohibition era) was one of the brands G. Heileman kept in 1982 when they bought Pabst, keeping some of Pabst's breweries (San Antonio, Portland, Georgia) and some brands (also, Lone Star, Henry Weinhard) and spun off a "new" much weaker Pabst - since the DoJ would have no doubt have knocked down a full merger of the two large national breweries.

Keeping RW&B was a surprise - it made sense to keep Lone Star along with their Texas brewery (instant market share in the largest US market) and B-W's Henry Weinhard was one of the most successful "super-premiums" of the era - but Red, White and Blue? Heileman didn't already have (too) many popular- and economy-priced brands? I imagine Heileman might have changed the regional distribution of the beer, pulling out of some markets.

My dad gave me a taste of Stroh's in 1954 and even though the company was broken up and sold for parts, the beer is still being made by Pabst.

Ah, but which "Schmidt('s)" branded beer? Technically, the one that originated in St. Paul, MN from the Jacob Schmidt Brewing Co. is still around, the one from Philadelphia is gone - even though Pabst (like previous owners, Heileman and Stroh) sells the former Minnesota brand on the east coast in former C. Schmidt & Sons markets and even confuse the two on their website by embedding the Philly brand's commercial - http://pabstbrewingco.com/blog/beer/schmidt/ but obviously "The BrewThat Grew with the Great Northwest" was not brewed in the city of Brotherly Love...

When I was a kid I was given an occasional sip or two of Hamm's. I loved their TV advertisements. I think my first full beer was a can of Old Style at an uncles house.

I started less than a year ago. I would assume they still make everything I've tried.

To answer the question, though, it was Colorado Native, a Coors "craft" beer. Coors Light was second. Tivoli Lager was third. Knowing what I know about Colorado beers now, I regret that those were the only three beers I had while I was in Colorado.

    I misread somehow.

Regardless,... to me it might as well not be made anymore.

OK, that explains it. It was definitely the Philly one, so it's gone. That explains why I haven't seen it in ages (but then again, I'm not looking!)

    It was pretty terrible.

It was probably a Dixie. The brewery's long gone but they contract out their brewing.

    Miller pony bottles, etc.

but the first beer I bought (read: would have someone of age buy for me) was Erlanger.
Made by Stroh by the time I found it.

I took a drink of my Dad's yellow stuff when I was four. Kept me away for 10+ years.

First time I drank something that made me want to get a beer for anything other than the alcohol? Guinness on tap a couple days after I started my year in Glasgow at Strathclyde, 1991.
