Darklord...I've never had the chance to attend the festival, so my only option as of now is buying it off craigslist, and on principle alone I can't pay $125-150 for a bottle of beer. If I'm going to be paying $150 for something I'm soliciting off Craigslist, it's certainly not going to be a bottle of beer!

Hoppin Frog Hop Dam Triple IPA. I've bought one, and good God it was one of the best IPAs I have ever had! No joke up there in my top 5 behind only a few like PtE, Olde Hickory Redeemer, Enjoy By, and Double Jack. But 20$ a bottle is a little crazy for a double IPA. I would buy it again if I ever run across one under a month old.

Your not missing much, way over priced, but everything Hoppin Frog is over priced IMO.

Virtually every beer sold here, because it's cases only by me and I don't want to shell out $40 or more for an entire case of one particular beer.

    So....most beer, really.

Can't justify this! Sheesh Public House! While I love the selection and opportunity to bring to the Giants thinks I sneak my own bottle into the mens room, pour appropriate bomber into plastic cups and enter stadium. Whoops...hope my secrets not out.

Hop Dam is the ultimate palate wrecker. Love that stuff. Quite a bit different than PtE and Enjoy By (haven't had the others) but a great TIPA! Here in Ohio it is $15.99 in stores or $13.99 at the brewery.

My local has had a few bottles of Mikkeller Beer Geek Brunch Weasel - Calvados edition for a while now. They're dinky little 8.5oz bottles, so I can't really justify blowing $15+ for one of them.

That's funny, I did just about the exact same thing but I traded for it only after seeing it on shelves for $34-$44 and eventually saying "Screw this. I'm gonna trade a Hunahpu I only paid $20 for to get it."

Probably North Coast's Old Stock Reserve. There are still bottles sitting around for ~$25 for 500ml. I love the regular Old Stock, and I imagine the bourbon makes it fantastic (not to mention the age is has on it at this point), but I've just never been able to do it.

Having problems with Eclipse. Same price as some of the best Bruery beers, a smaller bottle too. And I complain about the price of those same Bruery beers.:flushed:

Blabaer. I would love to try this beer and I found a 750ml. bottle once for $250. I might be preaching to the wrong choir but if I'm gonna spend $250 on alcohol it's going to be wine.

Anything over $20 for a bottle. There's a lot of great beer under $20 and I have a hard time justifying spending more on a bottle. There's a lot of stuff from other parts of the country and Europe I'd love to have but I don't have a desire to drop that much cash on a bottle.
