Shit, I forgot that.
Columbus Brewing Co. IPA and Uinta Hop Notch.
When Great Lakes distributes Hop Madness, watch out. Dreadnaught wont be the same.
Yea I think Hop notch is good and flies under the radar.
I'd add Mayflower IPA out of mass I dont think many people have heard of this, its solid.
Also I had Digital IPA from yeastie boys, some australian brewery I think, was really good.
I would say Iowa is good at hiding awesome IPA's.
River Horse Hop-a-lot-amus.
The one that I've brewed myself with Centennial and Cascade hops, around 6% ABV and 80 IBUs!
damn- all these sound great! Anyone want to do a nationwide road trip!
Mayflower IPA from Plymouth Ma..One of the best around the Boston area!!
Hoppy Birthday from Alpine. Not even a contest.
Two come to mind, though they are fairly new. Both are Mn IPAs. First, Hop Dish from Liftbridge Brewing in Stillwater Mn. So fucking good. Second, Foto IPA from Lucid in Minnetonka Mn. Unique, dry and hoppy as hell. Anyone here heard of Masala Mamma?
I believe it defines the white whale
Protector IPA by Enegren Brewing
Not sure how well known Knee Deep brewing is, but their Citra PA caught me off guard. Should be called an IPA and i'd at least put it up there in my top 10.
Bitto Honey IPA from Prism Brewing in North Wales, PA
Big Daddy ipa from Speakeasy San Francisco Ca
The guys hording all of the Boneyard in the PNW don't know what they're missing by not having Berryessa and their awesome IPA's.
Berryessa's Double Tap gets my vote.
Ft. George Vortex and Bootjack Icicle
I also had a chance to try Sweet Water IPA and it was great
Triton Railsplitter. Indy's best ipa.
Wormtown Be Hoppy.
Sweetwater IPA. Out of Atlanta GA. Very good indeed.
Lots of good beers listed and I'd like to add Straight to Ale's Monkeynaut.
Railroad IPA from Rohrbachs Brewing in Rochester, NY
Marble IPA out of Albuquerque. Pretty sure it is only distributed in NM and TN which is kind of random. Also Troopers Alley IPA from Wolf Hills Brewing in Abingdon, VA.
It's distributed in TN because of a trademark dispute settlement.
I actually liked Ninkasi's total domination.
Populist from eagle rock is good down in la.
If you find yourself in new Mexico la cumber is a solid brewery and their elevated ipa is fantastic
I don't see Revolution's Anti-Hero get mentioned as much as I'd expect.
Ive never heard of this, but the name alone makes me want to try it.
The best unknown IPA is Four Peaks Hop Knot IPA from Tempe, AZ.
Edgar IPA from Bullfrog Brewery out of Williamsport PA
DUB from 10 Barrel Brewing
Wedge Third Rail DIPA (although I felt it was more of a strong ale). Yummmm.
Love Sweetwater IPA, too, and Columbus is quite good, as well.
I don't know
Often overlooked by Surly in Minneapolis - Town Hall Brewery's Masala Mama IPA is outstanding.
I genreally am not a huge fan of ABC (arbor brewing company) but Buzzsaw IPA is pretty damn good. Maybe it's because I can get it very fresh and on tap, but I really enjoyed it.
These are local for me. Timber Beast-Rye IPA, 16 reviews, Snake Handler DIPA, 53 reviews.
My homebrew DIPA. A handful of folks are aware of it. It's a thing of beauty.
