    For me...
Fiddleheads Second Fiddle, or as I call it the Heady/Pliny/Ghandi/Lunch Crusher! A close 2nd was Shmaltz Mazel Hops IIPA.
Bruery Mash was pretty friggin' insane as well!
Victory Dirt Wolf and Hop Ranch both blew my mind!
Druther's "The Dare" Gose (Gold Medal at the World Beer Championship)
Shmaltz/He'Brew Jewbelation '14 (Silver Medal at the WBC for Barrel Aged Sour Ale)
Goose Island The Illinios was spectacular fresh but it's still sitting around all over NY.
Pretty Things Barbapapa. Probably THE BEST RIS (non-BA) I've ever had the pleasure of tasting and chewing down! LOL!!! It's like swallowing fudge brownie mix!

I also had the pleasure of a making a Cuvee' of about 12-15 different barrel aged beers that Jeremy and Paul had pulled right out of the barrels, tasted individually, and gave me the rest to do with what I will... I drank some as I closed the brewery for the night, and filled a growler for an amazing night of fun!

This is my first exposure to "Extra". BA reviews seem to begin around 08/13/2014 yet it was originally listed on BA 08/23/2009. All I know is it is absolutely delicious and I thought this was new this year?

I keep seeing posts for Sierra Nevada Vienna Lager. Wow was that beer was boring. I get that it was a nicely crafted "craft" lager but, come on. It tasted so... Mellow... So plain... Like So many other macro lagers.

You are failing to acknowledge sour/barrel is the cool thin, imo. So while your are not on IPA town bandwagon, we need to discuss sour/barrel to be uber kewl.

This so much. The combined efforts of Ft. George, Boneyard and Block 15 resulted in an incredible beer.

night shift whirlpool. it messes with what most people think a fresh, hoppy pale should be. it's an extrememly milky yellow, white color-which is why it smells and tastes so amazing. they don't let it sit in brite tanks to clear out all of the yeast in suspension, yeast that all the flavor sticks to. so it's fresher and will taste fresher longer than all those ipa's that are clear and 'pretty,' but really just look like bud because many ipa drinkers still think beer should look like bud for some reason. i don't care if whirpool isn't very bitter, hops are still what the beer is all about and the hops give an amazing tropical fruit juice aroma and flavor that sets the beer far apart from all the other great hoppy session pales which came out this year. whirlpool is just a very different approach to brewing hop juice than all the ipa's and double ipa's mentioned here.

I just had Spencer Ale for the first time. It's a well balanced, crisp, pale Belgian ale. Also, it's the first Trappist ale brewed in North America!
