In my cellar there is equality among all beers (and wines). They're all just happy to be there.

    2000 Jubel Millennium
    2010 Jubel Once a Decade
    + Heavy Weight Old Salty (vintages 2000 - 2005 + 2005 BA)

This beer/vintage is absolutely incredible....had two (12oz) within the last few years and they've both been insanely delicious.

Wow, I feel out of place here. But for me (especially considering how poor the selection is in Canada) its a 2 year old Rochefort 10. And runner up would be a 2 year old Quel Que Chose.

I've only recently gotten serious but my favorites (and my entirety):

2012 Surly Smoke and a Darkness
2012 Goose Island BCBCS and a Night Stalker
2011 Brau Bros. Rye Wyne Ale

I've got to move these to the off site wine cellar soon, I don't know how you ladies and gents sleep in the same place as these beers you speak of.

Hmmmmmm... That's not true. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to sell beer in a store. Or I could take home all the beer and invoice them as I drank them.

I simply mean that the beer in my cellar doesn't really have any value to me until after I've consumed it. Talking about the beer in my cellar is quite frankly stupid. Talking about the beer I just consumed, preferably next to a couple people I shared it with.... That's where I find the value. So beer in the cellar is just...potential value. Where beer's concerned, once I buy a beer...I don't gauge the value in $'s. Money's spent. All that's left is what you do with it.

A bottle of midnight suns good mojo, given to me by the brewer who only hand bottled a handful of them when the beer was brewed.

Might be the weekend to crack that guy finally

He's brewin in India right now for Barking Deer, and I surely hope his kickin ass out there and having a good time, he's a good guy.

If we're being so literal/precise: once you drink it, all that's left is a memory, no? And for many people, there is some value to looking at beer and knowing you have it, even anticipating drinking it. So, I don't think these lines are clear.

12 cases of Alexander Rodenbach (I've been sitting on these since 1988)
    50+ different Coronation Ales 1953
Barclay Perkins Russian Imperial Stout 75cl bottling 1935 (5 bottles), 1953 (3 bottles) not the Barclays Imperial Stout, this is a completely different beer (rather boring).
