VBS - A 4 pack disappeared after one hell of a shitty week. Car got totaled. I got mugged and my basement flooded. For once, I am very happy for Monday to come!

 

Y'all Florida guys need to start sending this one out...this is one of the best imperial stouts I've had.

 

Its Afghan food. Its called Bolani and they make 4 of them with Spinach, Lentil, Potato, Pumpkin. They started selling them at Costco last year (made in Cali i think). Its delicious and healthy stuff too (even with the sauces).
They fly off the shelves here, but if you see them, id recommend trying.

It was at both breweries only. Sold out in Florida. I'm Hoping my Virginia friends can find some. It was on tap at CCB this past weekend and YES it is damn good

 

My first non-IPA from treehouse.. this is their double shot coffee stout.... uhhhmmmmm WTF

Anymore at bigger tastings the surprises of the night are almost, if not better, than the favorites of the night, for me at least.

no it was a #pickitupformebro from @dwmetsfan13. My guess is it was just mis-labeled and he probably has an extra growler of double shot with one of their IPA tags. After reading such great things, i must say im pretty bummed to miss this one.

 

Having too much fun on my first visit to San Francisco! Cellarmaker & SARA are highlights so far. Sippng Ina Double Dobis by Cellarmaker right now. Had Fou Foune & West Ashley on tap. Scored a bottle of Fou & Iris as well as the latest SARA release. I'd post pics if I wasn't so damn lazy. Cheers all!

So I retrieved the mortar that you filthy rebs shot my way. @Corriecrafts I know you rebs aren't the best with artillery but unfortunately we have our first civilian casualty. My neighbor had to pick up the box, and the thing denoted right on his porch. Well I know what you slow rebs are thinking, that who cares about another injured yank, but I want to make sure you understand my neighbor is from Louisville! Yep he is a southerner. Good job rebs!

True, though the favorites of tonight's share (yes, its been a rough weekend...) were Parabola, Hunahpu, and Red Angel. None of which were particularly surprises. But all were new to me, so really happy to try!

Absolutely! I'm looking forward to the Eternal Sunshine & Eternal Sunshine with Lemons even more. Wanted to take one tonight but the wife pointed out that we should try them side by side, which I wouldn't argue with. We were on a strict bring-one-beer-per-person limit and I didn't want both of them to be sours (since half the share already ended up being sours), so I'll try them next weekend probably... though next weekend is also the big beer festival in town, so we'll see
