So I will admit one of the reasons I expressed interest when @MCMASTERSANCHEZ got the Horizontalhood is because I figured there was a very good chance I'd get beer from Three Floyds. And since I've never had a potential BIF sender or made a trade in the past with anyone from Indiana, I didn't know a whole lot about what else was out there.

And then I opened the Horizontalhood and found an amazing box filled with stuff that I've never had before, from a brewery whose name I recognized because I've seen it listed on a ton of people's wants, but that I know almost nothing about. I love new stuff, and this certainly appears to be the #2 brewery in the state, so I'm looking foward to these. And besides that, there is only one that I need to drink quickly (while it's #lehighfresh) and I can save the others until I have company.

    So moving right along...

Goodies from the 18th Street Brewery:

Temporal Purgatory -- this is the only one I'm concerned about drinking fresh, and unless I end up with unexpected plans and go out tonight, this will be opened and consumed this evening.

Hunter Coconut and Hunter Cherry -- My "research" reveals great things about Hunter Milk Stout; these are both part of their "vertical series" with a bunch of different flavors -- both sound interesting, but will probably be beers I share (or at least open when I have potential sharing candidates around); I try to do that with unique flavors just in case they overwhelm me.

Devil's Conclave -- this one sounds amazing -- a very highly rated Milk Stout -- and while I've never had anything from 18th Street before, this is actually my second bottle -- I got one from@Syracuse12 a few months ago when he was up in my direction and we exchanged a couple of beers each, I didn't know where it was from. There's a good chance this one will be gone within a week or two and then I can save the other.

Devils Spear -- this one's a Barleywine that sounds delicious and has great reviews, another one I will probably be sharing.

And last but not least, #properglassware (yay) to drink all of these out of

Thanks Shaun for a great selection and variety of new-to-me beers -- this is what the Horizontalhood is all about!

And I will probably be posting my offering early next week -- I feel like over the weekend it may get lost in the flood of #vbs's.

I'm not sure if the deadline was the midnight that is coming up or the one that just passed, but I will guess 158.9 pounds. And if I win will defer to somebody else, since you just sent me beer.

So @PG2G expressed interest in BoT, which I had an extra of. We agreed on a six bottle shipper size box and I told him just to send whatever. I ended up with this amazing box full of wants. Can't thank you enough Martin!

Well, I hit you up for White Oak, now I'm hitting you up for Last Snow. Seems like you and the color whyte go together. Now, how do I go about not getting a 50 lb monster that will get me thrown out of my house?

I went and checked the locals directory when I saw the Shipment notification and realized it was you. Of course I already owe some retaliatory shots from the #DatGlass LIF, so best prepare yourself and hide yo wives and children, yank!
