On a different note, this is going to be my last American beer for a while as I need to go to Europe for work for the next few weeks. I will try to keep up with the group but wifi is always spotty there and I may be going deep in some cellars.
So, I don't think I owe anybody boxes but if I do, please, let me know.

#8 For future reference, getting drunk on sours is a weird, lucid drunk.... Heading back to IPA and Imp. Stout territory where I feel safer.

From what I understand from the brewery, sometimes they feel like using the Bio label (that I think they have to pay a small fee for) and sometimes they don't. Though it could absolutely be that they 'feel like' packaging the Bio for Europe and the Classic for the US, though it wasn't how the guy at the brewery worded it.

But yeah, exact same beer. As is the Kriek (obviously not the same as the Gueuze, the two Krieks are the same as each other).

 

I really wasn't a huge fan of the Silva Stout at all. Alpine just made it to Minnesota so there's a couple of Green Flash events going on around town. Went to a place and had Duet and Nelson (yeah!) and then had Silva. Was too barrely still and a bit tough to drink.

Just saw on Facebook that they were doing a tasting of all of the one-off beers that they've done. Haven't had much of their stuff since I don't think its distributed where I'm at (though I think that will change in a week or two), but I do have one of their Trail Magics.

You going to one of the beer releases in Asheville next weekend while you're in the area?

 

Bruery got me going to sleep at 10pm on a Saturday :/ smh
