"Short" version --

1 - I wanted to (and still do) reduce inventory and still feel like I have received more from this group than I have given

2 - I loved the Plan Bee Pickle, had two left, and knew in the past you had said you loved Pickles. Figured this made you a good target (along with a couple of other folks)

3 - I picked up the Crooked Stave Passion Fruit on impulse and per my new beer guy's recommendation. When I got home, I looked for folks in here who had it on their wants, you were one of them

4 - Rosso e Marrone is supposed to be really good -- I tasted it on tap and liked it, so decided to get a crowler. A day or two later, I drank a 22 oz sour and decided that doing so is a little too much for me (I like sours, but have a lot of them, and try to stick to smaller quantities). I knew from a long time ago that you like anything in a barrel, so this worked.

5 - the CL Barrel Select Pomegranate was from inventory, nobody in here had it as a want, but there's that barrel thing again. And you had something pomegranate (I forget what) on your wants. It made sense again.

Those 4 filled 4 slots, there should also have been an Otter Creek/Lawson's Double Dose in there (possibly still stuck in the top half of the shipper you should check. I packed it pretty tight. I wonder if it was in the same slot as the Newburgh, and if THAT is what leaked?)

All the others were from inventory and used to fill the box -- the Thimble Island, Newburgh, and Super Session all came in 6 packs so I had some to distribute, I picked up the Hop Knife as a new tick and then released I had already tried it, and the Gose was the right size to fill a slot.

And last but not least

6 - you came out of the closet as a Met fan and bet for them against the Cubbies (unfortunately, you didn't do it this round). You also made entertaining guesses in the last LIF I ran.

And there is seriously no need to send anything back -- after the week you had I just hope this helped cheer you up a little (although that was by no means planned).

 

Well done Mike! There's obviously nothing wrong with wanton porch destruction entirely at random, but I really like to see when people put a lot of thought into it! (Not that I'd expect any less from you )

I came home to a kitchen table full of boxes and beers...there was a double dose on the table which I think is fantastic good to know where it came from. Thanks again Mike!

 

Pretty good but not mind blowing, got much better as it warmed. The vanilla gives it a pretty smooth mouth feel and the spices are pretty well balanced. I gave it a 4.25, @campa86 is a huge fan of it though

 

In that case, you can ignore my BM about finding the top half of the shipper and checking it for a shattered bottle.

 

Last night #VBS. We were supposed to go up to a wedding in Dallas last night, bad severe weather in Houston Friday night/Saturday morning caused us to cancel our trip so we went trick or treating with our nephew instead. Brought this guy I got from @NickyPogs to share with my brother-in-law. Poured in our metal Brash cups (with much appropriate logo) for safe carrying from house to house.

 

Classy, I went the red solo cup route for trick or treating
