Got bombed by @valrxman today. It started as a trade box that Steve morphed into a wishlist box.



I asked Steve for a Last Buffalo as a part of the trade box. Then he somehow finds out that it was also on my wishlist and sends another bottle. He obviously knows my preference for the dark stuff and fills out the box with other awesome stouts.

I always enjoy sending to Russ. The only extras are beer. I'm just happy his return box is on the way without seeing what I sent. I'm also afraid of what is coming as well. Russ was the first Local to send me 24 beers in a round. Crazy Texans

Just another IPA from Floyds. They all taste the same to me and while it's good Floyds isn't the kingpin they are made to be. But maybe I've grown tired but I much rather enjoy IPAs from some of the breweries I've tried thanks to all you locals. Also everyone has different tastes and maybe that's why I'm not over impressed.

Solid IPA but give me some Tree House or Trillium any day over Floyds

 

I agree FFF is overrated & I think they made their name when overall craft beer quality was at a lower level than it is now. Now they just seem like just another option that's out there but living off of their name

So in the Locals Fantasy Football League b2, I was lucky enough to finish 3rd, which means I got 2 boxes coming my way. The first one landed on Wednesday while I was out of town, but when I got home yesterday and unwrapped, everything was safe and sound.

@blassor absolutely KILLED it - completely overboard with this 12-shipper. First, the cans;

Carton; Regular Coffee, Gilded Lily, Cafe y Churro, and Caffe Corretto (2 new ticks, and 2 that I can't wait to revisit) - PLUS a Carton travel coffee mug... technically PGW?
Kane; Party Wave & Third Reef. Pretty sure these are my first hoppy Kane beers!
Other Half; Motueka + Galaxy. MOAR HOPS!

And there is more! Bottles!

Lagunitas; High Westified. Always love this one, and it's gone far too quick from shelves!
Tired Hands; Sticky Drippy Crystals & Permashore. Both new ticks, and these look effing delicious.
Bruery Terreux; The Wanderer. I've seen some of you VBS this one, and I can't wait to try it! The fiance is already bugging me about when we can open it.
Kane; MEXICAN BRUNCH! This one was on my short list to try at EBF next weekend, and now I've got an entire bottle! I'll probably have to bring this to Keithapalooza 2.0 (or is it Corseypalooza 1.0 this year?) and share with those Locals who're coming to town.
Weldworks; BAMA! Hot damn! This one is polarizing, as there have been intermittent reports of infection, but if it's not, I'm sure this is going to be the highlight of this incredible box! Will report back this weekend!

Five interviews and a phone screen recently. Three rejections and a fourth which I think is a no but they don't have the respect or professionalism to let me know. Glad this weekend is DL vertical weekend.

Ha ha thanks. It's tough to go from no bites to a bunch of bites and not catch anything. Just have to keep casting I guess. A few beers this weekend to reset and back on the hunt.

Anyone open 2013 VB DL? Opened at a share and most feel it takes a bit infected. Kinda sour

 

Had a horribly infected bottle of 13 BVDL back in the summer of 2015. And then a month later had a bottle of 13 BVDL that was fantastic.
