$40 on a Firestone Walker 17. Just last weekend shared it with my wife, her sister and sister's husband. When asked if it was worth that much, I just looked at the smiles around the table and said "absolutely ".

$80 for a Cantillon Bruscella at Edmunds Oast last year during Brewvival weekend. Split it with a friend and then shared with a few other people at our table which means in reality I got about 4oz of it for $40.

$20, Hill Farmstead Birth of Tragedy and Anchorage's Darkest Hour each cost me that. Once it goes beyond that, i start to question it, but in retrospect I probably would have picked up Hill Farmstead's Biere de Norma now that I have had more of their bottled beers over the year.

If we count trade goods. I picked up Dark Lord, Hunahpu, and A Deal With the Devil $4$ for what those go for.

80€ for 4x Westvletren 12 in Paris. Was worth it for the experience. Otherwise, like 55€ for the collection of Braukunstkeller barrel aged Imperial Stouts.
    Also worth it.

Stone IPA... I bought a six pack a day every single day of 2001 - 2005 at about $3600 annually plus all the bombers and special releases for about 20 grand... I should own stock.

Guess I'm on the low end. $16 for Founders Blushing Monk - most for a 12 oz $10 for Dogfish head Raison D extra. Draft, $10 for a 8oz pour of Founders CBS. All well worth it - esp the CBS.

Both probably from Allagash. Large bottle around $20. Small bottle around $15. Will continue to occasionally buy large bottles in that range to share. Wouldn't do the single serving for $15 again.

I bought an assorted case of Pizza Boy sours to surprise some people I traded with. That really tore the wallet apart.

For a single beer, probably brandy Bois at a bar for like $45. I honestly don't know if this is good or bad within the Bruery's pricing regimen.

EDIT: Oh, I've been Tactical Nuclear Penguin, Sink the Bismarck, and a 3L Double Bastard as gifts. I think all those go 60+

~$80 for the 3L of Double Bastard while on vacation in San Diego; and then double the cost to ship it and the other goodies I found home. Definitely overpriced for the beer, but it certainly was a baller move breaking that bad boy out on New Year's...

Wasn't a huge expense but it was $12 for a bottle of Rogue. Let alone the bacon maple ale....putrid is the only way I can describe it. 2 sips and it met the drain.

Yikes, I don't even like paying $8 at the store.

I must admit I have however paid $10 for a 10oz pour on draft. While it's too much, it really is a fantastic beer when fresh.

So far, about $38 on a bottle of Thomas Hardy (including shipping). I love, love, loved it! I do have plans to spend about $50 on a bottle of Dark Island Reserve from Orkney, and maaaybe $100 on another one I found in a nice bar in town here. But I haven't talked myself into the latter one just yet/
