God that beer was awful... although the one I had was in 2000 and said "We all put the yeast in!" on the side.

Not all pop culture beers are bad, though... Monty Python's Holy Ale is a pretty good drink.

I had a Duff beer in Rome circa 2008.

Why would a Simpsons-inspired beer be in two continents, and neither of them North America?

I drank a Duff Beer I purchased in either Florence Italy or Zurich Switzerland when I was there in 2009..

It may have something to do with the 'marketing to minors' bits of of the laws, though that's just a guess.

duff was made in America as a one off in the mid 2000s, my pal still has one in his fridge as an ornament. I remember it as being a typical macro in a funny can.

I had one in Rome too in, late 2011. I remember it not being very good, though it was nice to be able to walk down the street drinking a beer, good or not.

I notice Duff has deviated from a sort of brown color to blonde color over the years?

Had SEVERAL Duffs at Moe's tavern in universal studios Orlando last winter. Typical macro. But boy did I need a beer. Or even something like beer. They had Duff light too. Same beer as far as I could tell but slightly different color. I got lucky it was $8 beer day.

They have Duff beer at Universal Studios. California & Orlando parks. They have it on draft at Moe's Tavern & the Duff Brewery garden area. It tasted like an Amber Bock to me.

Or these TV show inspired beers, which came in the wake of the short-lived celebrity brand, "Billy Beer":

This year's Duff isn't as hoppy as last year's.

Probably due to people already making beer and claiming it to be "Duff" in those countries, instead of shutting them down every year (or every month) they jump in the game and shut them out with a licensed product.

I have a sixer of that 4077th still. Not thinking it will taste any worse than fresh.
