6 months later and it's still delicious.
Had one last month, it held up very well
I thought it was fairly average to begin with, and gets more spearminty and pickle brine like ever time I have had it. A friend of mine that cooks a lot says she could make home made pickles with it How this has a 4.3 average is beyond me.
Subjectivity: the bane of beer nerd dogma.
I didn't think I'd like Hibernal so much, but somebody kindly sent me a bottle and jesus christ was it amazing. Everybody I shared it with thought it was one of the most unique, refreshing beers that they'd had in a long time! I'm a little envious of the people who drove away with cases...
Had it last weekend as well, and it is still drinking great. Wish I had bought a few more
I haven't had it in a while and the watermelon flavor was never that strong so I'm wondering how that is holding up, since Daemose didn't mention any details. I wouldn't be surprised if the spearmint and other spices held up. I had a Stone Mint Chocolate stout recently and the mint was still present.
Who in the hell said it wouldnt hold up?
The naysayers, duh
You gotta give me a call when you're opening things.... haha
One of the best jk beers IMO
That can't be. It was too easy to get!
I'm glad I have a bottle left.
One of my top beers for 2014. Hope its a repeat this year.
Great brew really REALLY enjoyed it
Opinions are like things everyone has, so there is that. You know so like whatever.
Also +1 to @ElChuques for the Hennig avatar.
This beer was great. My parents had never had sours and are usually Michelob and Shiner drinkers. My mom loved it and my dad never had more than the first sip.
Still haven't had it. Hoping to try it soon
I also just drank my last bottle this week. Held up better than most actually. The spearmint actually seemed more prevalent, and really is such a unique aspect to this beer. I also hope they brew it again.
