OK thought i would follow the WA folks and do the same for Gods Country.
Here is mine its pretty personal as i really don't follow trends and prefer more "traditional" styles.
    1. Block 15
    2. Gigantic
    3.Ft. George
    4. Boneyard
    5.pFriem

honorable mention to Santiam in Salem who brew wonderful cask ales..which i love.

    3. Sunriver
    4. de Garde
    5. pFriem

Hard to not have Ruse, Barley Browns, and Heater Allen in there, among others, but there's a lot of breweries making high quality beers.

It hurts to leave off HOTD, Upright, Pelican, Breakside, Ex Novo and Gigantic, all of whom I enjoy often.

A caveat: There are many others from whom I've had so little that it was hard to consider them, as good as they may be: Ex Novo, Sun River, Boneyard (I've only had their hoppy offerings), Ruse, etc.

Is this the nomination thread, or the final thread?
    If nomination:

    Deschutes
    HotD
    Bend Brewing
    Cascade
    Boneyard

Barley Browns woulda made, but for lack of availability. At least I can find RPM on tap around town.

Plus, I didn't vote for Pfriem cuz, well, much like Fremont, gonna be stunned if they don't win.

This is even tougher than the WA one for us north of the border. Lots of excellent breweries, but some, like Barley Brown and Boneyard I just don't see much variety from. Everything I've had from both are great, but I've only had a few IPAs.
Of what I've had a good selection of:
    Pfriem
    Fort George
    Deschutes
    Gigantic
    Block 15

From the few Wayfinder beers that made it up here, they should be on here too, as well as the two mentioned above. And Alesong and HotD.
    How about top 10?

  11. Reidrover

All of those are likely to make the cut without my nominations, though. If I sacrificed some nominations in the name of fanboyism, I'd put Spider City, Porter, and Alesong on the list.

Spider City and Porter..worth a visit in summer when i venture over the pass?
And are they better than the other lesser Bend breweries like Oblivion?

I endorse visits to both. Porter announced plans for a Bend tasting room shortly before the shutdown, otherwise they're in the hinterlands of Redmond.

    My five:

    Block 15
    Fort George
    Great Notion
    Hair of the Dog
    Cascade

Had to get Cascade into that fifth spot because on a cold Portland night after drinking all day, a hot Glueh Kriek is one of my favorite things.

    The missus says:

    Fort George
    Great Notion

Off the top of my head, in no particular order:
    • Upright
    • pFriem
    • Block 15
    • Fort George
    • Ex Novo
    There's about a 12-way tie for 6th place.

Bonus: My Top 5 Portland list:
    • Upright
    • Ex Novo
    • Breakside
    • Wayfinder
    • Occidental

this is impossible. Barley Browns and Hair of the Dog are making entirely different products that have as much in common as red wine and Gin.

    that said, ill roll with.....

    pFriem
    Wayfinder
    Upright
    Ft George
    Block 15

HotD, Gigantic, Ale Apoth are right there. Deschutes and Breakside after that

Cascade,DeGarde win the sour category, but im not a huge fan of that style anymore

You’re talking to a guy who grew up in Kansas City.

The view from Buoy of the Columbia River’s confluence with the Pacific Ocean is pretty damn impressive if you ask me.
