Awesome - TY
Anyone gotten a second chance KBBS yet. Want to know when I can frantically stop checking my email
I saw people mention on FB several hours ago that they had gone out.
Stout stock handing out KBBS wife and I got 18 and 21 on top of our 22 assassin saw at least 3 others get KBBS as well
I will say seismic sue is fucking delicious only grabbed 2 bottles but will have to grab more when distributed
Ended up with Bramble, but i'm not going to bitch it was a great day up there, and Pulpit Rock had a few nice offerings yesterday as well - long drive each way but i enjoyed my trip to Decorah. Also - the burger at TBock's was great Thx guys
Glad you enjoyed T bocks. I really enjoyed bramble but if you don’t enjoy fruited stouts could see less excitement with other offerings. Either way like you said had a good trip and enjoyed some good beers on tap.
indeed - hotel was less than a mile away, so i put a hurting on the tap list.
Anyone score a KBBS 19 at stout stock? I'm searching for one.
Was jacked when I heard Sosus was back, until i learned it was $9 bomber again...
Still waiting on them to post the fucking details. 3 weeks ago they said they would do it soon
in a reply to someone on ig they said tomorrow (meaning today)
Quick question, do people do line shares in Decorah? Picking up at TG Saturday. Will probably swing by PR as well.
not since the days of the old taproom have i experienced any line shares at TG.
I heard the same thing from someone else. Sounds like the TG pickups are very streamlined now.
How about at PR? Looked like they had a couple releases in the next couple days. But unsure of how long they’ll last.
pulpit might allow it if you’re there early enough in the morning before open. can’t recall if i have ever been at pulpit early enough for a release like that..
If anybody has purchased a mystery box can you please post what you found inside?
Coming in for Saturday, wondering what the hotel shares are looking like and what time we are starting?
A group of us are staying at the quality inn looking to open some bottles either night
Damn my buddy for being an hour and a half late this morning to my house. Missed out on Pulpit Cake Talk by 45 mins! Oh Fuuudddggggeeee!
Anyone at Super 8 tonight have one and Best in Show? Brought DL Casino Beach and a 2x4 Benthic.
The ole Decorah Super 8!
A 5- Star establishment in a 1-Star kind of way!
Anyone know how many bottles of KBBS and Reserve were made?
I have bottle 841 so at least that lol.
Of which? I got bottle number 2 of Reserve, so I am not a good gauge for that one! 261 for regular. I was asking a TG employee that question and they did not spill the beans.
I obtained bottle 250 of reserve .. picked up this afternoon. My estimate is 500 to 600 total with tomorrows drop closing out the weekend . I’m sure they will archive a few as well for science …
I'm guessing 1000.
Mine is just the lowly regular. I would guess 1000 to 1250 bottles of that.
I got 1031 on the regular.
Was quite a treat yesterday being able to drink the KBBS vertical as well as Reserve and others. But I will say Toppling could have managed the crowd way better. They should of maybe had a tent out side for people just grabbing pours and dedicated inside to service of tables. They were only serving downstairs and its was just people wandering upstairs in hopes of grabbing a empty seat. We got to TG at 11:30 and it took about a hour to get some pours waiting in line and at that point our estimated wait time for a table was 2hrs 40min. it all worked out but just felt that there was definitely room to manage this better like for Assassin weekend where they had taps outside. My Reserve was #635
It was just all timing unfortunately. We got there at 4:15pm and only thing that was gone was 18 kbbs. Got the others with no wait and found a table upstairs without issue. The open til 3pm range was just insane there. Also I don’t know that taps outside in 18 degree weather would have been better.
your imperial stouts aren’t going to warm up to a good temperature, that’s for sure!
@Sabtos How do you feel about stout serving temps?
bring it on. seriously! because i have some thoughts…
Damn it was 18° in Decorah!? We've had an unbelievable couple months here in Ohio relative to typical weather. And yeah, super cold stouts and barleywines are a travesty, but sometimes you just gotta BYOM[icrowave].
this is 99% of stouts and barleywines served publicly
