I see Toppling Goliath has started stamping a "best by" date on the bottom of the King Sue cans. I hadn't seen that before on Decorah cans.

 

It started it late April on Sue cans, all varieties should have it now.

 

So, have they done away with the "canned (or bottled) on" date?

 

1. Cardboard 4pk holder still has Canned on date, cans now have best buy date on bottom. I think the King Sue was 120 days out.
   

 

It may have been discussed in the previous 100 pages here, but, can someone with more experience explain how the MD pickup usually works? Are you only allowed to stay for your 90 min window and then they kick you to the curb or can you stick around and drink at the bar? If so, what type of stuff besides MD did they have on in previous years?

 

Yep, only allowed in while your ticket session is on. They then open the taproom back up after all sessions. Depending on your sessions you will most likely see other BA stouts (I've heard a few rumors that something special will be showing up on tap...) and perhaps a cellar sale, a Double IPA (most likely fresh Supa Sumo) and there other originals.

 

MD Ticket sales go LIVE 2m at 11am. Get ready some website crashing....

 

Does anyone know if they let you pick a pickup slot or if it's random given out

 

If I remember correctly for the the lotteries; you were assigned a time slot if you won. With this be a ticketed sale you may have the option to choose a time slot of select best available .

 

Any info out there about how big of a batch this MD is? Was it brewed at the new place?
