Not sure if all of those things will be possible, but La Rana is probably a safe bet.
Angry Pickle could be a good bet as well. Something quick from the coop might be easy too. I'd expect T Bocks and Mabe's to be crazy.
Got a call and got a site! Only a few sites left and he said they have over 50 calls to return. He said the have a soccer field they could use as well and will probably do that so everyone should be good! If anyone misses out on a site, I am at #12 and will gladly share it!
Anyone in line/at the event able to confirm the "special surprise" that the TG twitter handle alluded to for those "in line early" about a week ago?
Yes, their FB post said they will and they did confirm on the phone with me a few days ago as well.
Yep, Everyone who has MD on tap will also have Dragon + Supa + King. We're tapping Supa & Dragon in the Cellar today. Those are all 1/2bbls - which is awesome - should last a while at all spots.
I got a call back as well! Site 10 by the river. Should be close by
Assuming this is a no, but it got lost in the jumble of questions. Are there any place that still have tickets for MD pours? Missed out on ticket announcements.
Should be close! I am getting my site set up and then catching a ride downtown. Probably can it back there or see if anyone else is headed that way!
That was twitted for the public opening tomorrow. I'm not sure anyone is lined up for anything tonight
We are not doing tickets at C&C - just first come, first served. doing aprox 80 pours tonight starting at 6pm. and aprox 80 pours at 10am tomorrow (on the Saturday front, only if you are attending the bottle share - you can see deets on that earlier in the thread). $10/5oz. Cheers!
Barrel Theory has said they're coming down, so I assume it's that. There will be some insane stuff tapped around town though. Coffee Assassin, SR71.......
Both of those have only been mentioned for the Rubyiat event tonight.
We'll be at the Country Inn to hopefully share some beers tonight (Friday).
Where would be the best chance to grab some bottles of King Sue?
They should be all over tomorrow.
Do u have room for 2 more tents on your site?
Hope someone reports on how SR and Coffee Assassin turned out! Heck I wonder if SR will be bottled again.
Firing up the bottle share at the County Inn. We have plenty of biscuits and gravy and whalez in the breakfast area. Stop by.
Winneshiek lobby/lounge should have a share too
Arrived at C&C about 6:15 and MD was already almost done for the night. Luckily got one of the remaining pours along with some bottles of King Sue - both tasting really good. For those who went to the Rubaiyat event, how were the surprise pours?
Ah, got it. Thanks for the clarification on bottle vs. draft. I figured the coffee Assassin was actually happening after reading Mike's twitter feed. Very jealous of anyone who gets to try it Hoping they decide to bottle that one day.
Looks like they brought SR-71 to go a long with coffee assassin, md, dragon, etc. I saw my buddy check in Assassin '14 but I'm not sure if that was from TG employees or from the share. The share list looked pretty crazy too.
If any fellow locked out thirsty-men that lost the lotto but whose wives won see a guy waiting outside in a brown Atomic Records Tshirt and a wierd curly mohawk thing, come say hi during the 12-3 session. I'm bringing a cooler of ice packs to keep my other ice packs cold.
Im curious as to the wives/girlfriends that won, if they don't enjoy beer (as my wife doesnt) what do they do with their pours that's included? Maybe smuggle in a funnel with a 12 ft hose attached and funnel it down to their awaiting men on the sidewalk outside the fence...lol.
Anybody know if I can print my ticket there? Or where might be the best place to
The reminder email doesn't mention having to print it so I'm going to risk it.
Requirements to enter event:
Arrive during the assigned time listed on your winning email.
Bring two forms of ID (Drivers License, Military ID, Passport, etc.) Any item a bank would accept, that will connect your name and the address you registered with.
$100 in cash
Email I got said you had to print it. I think it will be ok if you don't as I can't imagine they want 2000 pieces of paper but idk.
The first one definitely does, but the reminder doesn't. Doubt they will turn anyone away for not having it printed and if they do, I'll be the guy making a huge scene at the 8-11 pickup window.
For those looking for bottles Mabes has bombers for sale of King Sue, Sosus, Supa Sumo, Hopsmack and others.
How much are they?
Happy to report no printed ticket required.
$11-12 I think.
Funny thing is the gas station across TG had cases of sumo, bottles of king, Sosus, pink xhops, fire, skull etc all there. Saved us a ton of time
Anyone know If the line for the 430 opening started yet?
Never mind. Got here 30 min ago and I'm 45 back
Props to all the peeps cutting the line too. Was #37 when I got here now #50.
One is paying a bit of a premium; nonetheless, if you don't have the cash or can't wait around for the public opening then go for it
... if Clark's reading this enjoy the Pils
Don't worry, they were already there, just had to run some errands or drink some beers... or something.
It goes fast. I was probably about 80 people back for morning session and got my bottles by 8:20.
