Nobody is tipping 20% on bottle service at TG. You go up to the bar, order a kbbs, they swipe your card, open the bottle, and hand you the bottle and appropriate number of glasses for your party. They don't even come to your table or pour your beer.

When I went with friends we gave them $20.

What!!!!!? They don't light candles, scatter rose petals, and then an elegant man in a tuxedo with a mustache uncaps the bottle of KBBS after taking it out of a silver chilling bucket and then pouring it into your snifter while romantic classical music plays? Guess KBBS is overrated.

Hoping this one impresses and is a little different style from the other great TG IPAs we've all had. Really excited. Only downside is the price, heard that it's $9-10 a bottle at the taproom with a $200 surcharge per bottle via email once you get home...

Let it die dude. That whole thing wasn't even worth putting on blast like that anyways. Honest mistake by the crew at the taproom, & just trying to make it right in their mind.

$8-10 is par for the course with TG bombers anyways. I'm sure it will be great, but... Why has it taken so long for anything new to come out of TG?

I think we should keep razzing them. Guaranteed they would have kept going with it if there wasn't such a huge blowback. They are supremely douchey businesspeople

My only thought on the matter is how many people over their lifetime have not been charged for something in a restaurant, bar or otherwise? Granted this is over $200 and not a Miller Lite pint but how many businesses have gone through the trouble to contact the customer to get the cash for their own mistake? I bet it's pretty close to zero. TG's outlandish prices to be discussed another time...

Sounds like TG didn't get their bottles from their supplier and won't have bottles ready tomorrow according to their FB account.

You can't guarantee something you don't know. I stand behind the thought that it was an honest person that was trying to make right on their mistake on both fronts, but I can't guarantee it, since I have no knowledge, just giving the benefit of the doubt.

How about we say it's a business you own, and you had an employee that made a $200 mistake, and or was short $200 cash from the drawer? Would you want them to make it right if they found the mistake? Would you fire them right away? Assume they stole it?

As far as the last statement, you still seem to give them plenty of business...

I don't give Clark the benefit of the doubt. I certainly have given them business, but not in some time now. I change my mind with new information.

That was from March 2nd that you posted that, so Feb 26th you were last there. But I digress

Bummer that they don't have new bottles to fill today. Hopefully by the beginning of the week they will have them filled?

Like I said, my mind changes with new information. That trip was to visit Decorah and hit forager and pulpit rock. I muled some freshly filled bottles for some other folks that wanted them from TG.

Did any fellow Tavour users here grab the set of Assassin variants that popped up on the app's feed today? Opened the app randomly this morning and couldn't believe my eyes! Vanilla cinnamon Assassin is gonna be fire! You can check here if they still have any: goo.gl/3JG2Fw

I had to copy/paste it from my phone. Not sure why it won't light up.

Yeah. I got a "404 - Not found" error. Then my anti-virus went crazy. I think it's trying to load malware...

It encrypted all my files and now wants me to pay a ransom of 2 Bitcoins (or 2 bottles of Assassin and 2 bottles of 2014 KBBS).
