What date was your Dopp?
yeah i could see that working as well!
Welp, that didn't last long.
03/05. Just opened another to see if maybe it was just that one can. Same camera, same glass, same spot as the Haze I just posted. No filters or alterations.
This is not completely undrinkable as the green but it’s far from normal. Dopp is my favorite regular and I’ve probably had 12-15 different batches and this is absolutely not normal.
I had a 3/5 can tonight. I can confirm the appearance. However, I thought it reeked of sticky bud and had a nice bitterness. Could be other variables involved on my end. I’ll try another can tomorrow.
Tree House closing. Expect more soon. Buckle up, folks.
More like settle in, to your favorite couch groove, folks!
TH is definitely fortunate they can operate with a suspended cash flow for 2-4 weeks. Would guess many smaller operations with minimal or no distribution will have to remain open but restrict onsite consumption.
The neckbeards are not gonna be happy about this.
I'm curious if they'll try to self distribute cans to local stores in the area if they choose not to sell out of the brewery. They're sitting on all the product and it makes sense to move it. No idea how long this closure will last, but Baker closed schools for three weeks, so you have to think we're probably looking at about a month...?
It’s only a matter of time before the country is shutdown
Could this be how districts begins!? They’re gonna need to offload some aging beer quick!
Don't worry, coal country's here to save the day.
Edit: I don't know how to work these things.
Put the link into the image button.
Drinking a 2/11 Green right now and it's on point. Also doesn't look like that pic earlier in this post.
Looks like some sealing issues, so not actually issues with the beer itself. Would be pretty big news if whole batches were totally off. Sorry some of you caught the duds.
Yes! My joke worked. Thanks @Sabtos
now im taking this wuhan virus seriously
I'm sure glad my buddy missed the shutdown by a week. Stay safe up there, boys.
Trillium doing online ordering.
TH needs to set up a drive-through.
Yep, place order somewhere between gate and upper lot, order waiting for you when you get to upper lot, easy-peasy, just like mcDonald's
I'm sure they're looking into every possible option - they have a lot of inventory that they're sitting on. Just a matter of what is feasible.
I almost spilled a can of very green today- I think my heart stopped beating for a second.
Friday was definitely an interesting experience. Kinda funny that it was my first time making it out there and I couldn't have beer on tap. Having said that, I wasn't upset and I did understand why it had to be done.
I bought a variety of stuff (very green was my primary target because that is one of my favorite beers from them).
So far I drank Hype Machine (good but, yeah hype)
Gggrreennn (good but VG wins)
Radiant (I didn't expect it to be that good actually. The peach puree doesn't overpower anything and You get a subtle taste of acidity /sourness)
Very Green - this is my absolute favorite from them.
Haze - haven't had it in 2 years. Great body, but I'm not feeling the taste.
Agreed. That was eye opening.
The fact that you just said "need" Tree House is exactly why we as a country won't flatten the curve in time. We are all about to find out just what we "need".
Rather than respond with some bullshit, I am going to just admit that yes, I need Tree House.
You lost me at your "Dukies" username.
Funny you should say that...
The sanctimony is strong here.
oh no we're all gonna die
I mean, yeah. A bunch of people are going to die from this.
Am I wrong?
Welp, you didn’t really state anything of substance to argue about being right or wrong about. But it was certainly not remotely relevant to a TH thread on BA.
I’d say stick to twitter with all the other fear mongers. Hence ‘get lost’.
Never made a single tweet in my life and have no social media but good try.
Anyone venture a guess on how many thousands cases they are sitting on?
What do you reckon they plan on doing with it? Sit on it until they re-open (in a few months)?
