What's your ideal (and realistic) weekly release? If you had the authority for a week to tell TH what to brew...which 4 beers would you choose?

Realistic meaning you can't choose GM and Juice Machine and the Verys all in one week.... because we all know that will not be happening in the near future.

Give me Haze, Green, Single Shot w/ VB and GM.

Ridiculously easy in & out right now. I got there for 2:40 and was in line for maybe 5 minutes only.

I'd go with Julius over Green and Doppelganger over Haze. Agree with SSw/VB, I would love to see triple shot again but I feel like that's not happening anytime soon so for the last one I would like to see a high limit APA..... maybe Tornado

Seem to already have been open for at least a while... Line not even to the end of the red barn. Super mellow right now.

Heading down next week, hoping and praying for VH, does anyone think theyre not releasing this again till charlton or just a long hiatus. Thoughts?

They've been releasing the Very beers pretty often, so no reason to think it's not a possibility.

Riding this much on a certain beer to be released on your day at treehouse is almost guaranteed disappointment unless it's a core beer

I didn't take as him riding anything on VH - just asking if it was a possibility or not. I'd hope he realizes that the odds are slim.

Oh boy - fun question. I would say Julius, Haze, Lights on, and Very Green (pipe dream would be KJ or GM).

So I haven't been up to TH since the holiday season madness (when opening times went out the window). I am planning on swinging by on my way to VT this week -- what time have they been opening up on Wednesdays lately? Closer to 11 than 12?

I just cracked open Bright w/ citra that I picked up this week. I am getting savory / buttery off flavors in it that I dont particularly expect from tree house. Is anyone else tasting anything like this? Pride and Purpose was absolutely bomb and I expect doppelganger to be as well but maybe this is a side effect of citra dry hopping? Idk but other people seem to have tasted a similar flavor with citra beers so maybe its just my taste buds

I have gotten slight buttery flavors from a few all or mostly all citra brews, one of my homebrews, zombie dust, and some others. However, I have not gotten it on other homebrews with all citra or other all citra commercial beers. In my homebrew I thought I fucked up until I had it in some commercial beers (like zombie dust). I am thinking it might be a combination of citra with another ingredient (something in the water, yeast, or possibly malt).

Funny never noticed this about Citra, was at Trillium yesterday and had ddh Scaled (El Dorado, Citra, Columbus) and Citra Cutting Tiles and both had a slight buttery flavor... at least on the initial sip...

Not tripping about it, just speculating that it could happen because that hasn't been released in a long time.

This, this and this. I've been saying something is off with ALL of their beers lately. There ya go. Some pick up butter, I picked up overly ripe fruit. Too bad apologists will soon chime in with some butthurt nonsense. Stop sugarcoating it: either fix this issue or stop operations right away. I wonder what senator Elizabeth Warren and the CPB would think of that. Wait for the senate filibuster. It will be glorious.

I dont get it in Citra cutting tiles or scaled or ddh fort point but in TH Bright w/citra the buttery flavor makes me actively dislike the beer. Like I have 0 desire to drink them and would feel bad trading them

She's got bigger things to worry about but for a small donation I'm sure Jill Stein will get right on this.

I respectfully hope you're wrong and that it's Green instead. Im hoping to making a morning birthday trip, but I only go to TH for the green juice. Maybe they can save Alter for later in the week?

Julius + Green is usually what motivates me to get out there too. I think its happened a handful of times, and makes me move mountains.

Reminder. This is when the last of the cans sell. Due to TH's proactive approach to both available cases and anticipatory crowds, the "first" canned beer to kick was likely within 30 mins-1 hour before. They try to keep limits the same and when they go, they ride off nearly together.

Alter Ego... that's a bummer. On the plus side, I don't have to sit in my car for 3 hours now

I forget exactly when it was...the week of the Super Bowl, maybe...but I was there the day you could get 12 Alter Ego. Now that I'm down to the last one or two of those, it's a perfect time to restock! I'll gladly make the 2+ hour round trip for fresh Julius & AE.

The struggle is real, isn't it? Tree House releases good beer... ugh... I had plans, but now I guess I'll be sitting in the car for 3 hours.
