Great thanks for the info. Wish they were open earlier on Friday because I have half days during the summer but will have to brave the Saturday rush.

Eureka w/ citra might be the perfect summertime beer. I consider myself a hop head, i usually don't go for hoppy blonde ales, and even find some pale ales underwhelming, but treehouse knocked this one out of the park, and the high limits for cans is just icing on the cake. No need to ration cans! Can't wait to crush a few of these on the beach! Thanks again treehouse crew!

I'll be coming out from California to the anniversary party. Long time drinker, first time visitor. Hey, might as well go all in the first time. Looking forward to meeting and drinking with a bunch of you all this weekend!

NOM NOM NOM CANT WAIT TILL SATURDAY!!!!!

JUST UPDATED THE GROLWER FILL LIST:

DOUBLE SHOT - 3rd Anniversary Blend
(American Stout - 8.2% ABV) - In the year since it was born, Double Shot has earned a reputation around the brewery as one of our proudest accomplishments. We have learned a ton about the base beer and how it interacts with our favorite coffees. The 3rd Anniversary Blend is a culmination of those efforts! We brewed a bigger base beer than ever to support the addition of Guatemala Finca El Injerto, Hair Bender, and Sumatra Mandheling. The result is a rich and complex coffee beer with flavors and aromas of chocolate covered espresso beans, molasses, and brown sugar cookies… Your senses promise to be rewarded as it warms. A real treat, we think! (750ML - $10 / 2L - $20) *** Limit three total bottles w/up to 1 2L ***

DOUBLE SHOT | Sumatra Mandheling (American Stout - 7.8% ABV) - She's back! What’s better than one shot of espresso? Two shots of espresso! This edition of our favorite coffee infused stout utilizes buckets of Red Barn Coffee Roaster’s Sumatra Mandheling. The Mandheling’s deep cocoa flavors open up to reveal a richly complex treat. We taste flavors of , chocolate covered espresso beans, molasses, milk chocolate, and touches of brown sugar. A pungent & decadent bean for sure! A rich, sweet, and less roasty base beer contributes the ideal backdrop to this bold and vibrant treat for the coffee and beer lover alike! We find this to be the most intense and potent Double Shot yet. A true coffee lover’s delight! (750ML - $10 / 2L - $20) *** Limit three total bottles with up to 1 2L *** (1 BBL Remains)

    No canning till Friday.

looks like growler fills for thurs and fri. kind of disappointing for someone like me who is traveling almost 3 hours on Saturday and won't be able to take any home :slight_frown:

Anyone going to TH on thurs or Fri that would be willing to grab me a 750 of the 3rd Anniversary? I'll replace your glass and pay you cash there...

Seems strange that people coming Saturday for the party get the leftover cans from Friday and also don't get any growler fills, especially seeing there is a 3rd Anniversary blend, but oh well. I'm sure this party is going to be awesome and we will get to try everything there

Y'all need to calm down. I trust that the great folks at Treehouse have some excellent cans in store for this weekend. Also if you are going to the festival you are very lucky and have no reason to complain about what is and isn't available at the brewery on Saturday.

"Leftover cans." They're not day-old bagels from Dunkin'. I think they'll still be good on Saturday.

Why is that? We paid a lot of money for the ticket and some people are driving/flying/coming from afar and this may be the only opportunity we get to visit. We should be able to make some purchases. I know it sound like I'm complaining and I'm more than excited to get to the event Saturday...just would have liked to know I would be able to bring some home is all.

Totally hoping there's some can surprises for the weekend. Not going to the fest but strongly considering a Saturday morning drive from Boston for cans and brunch at Armsby.

You knew when you spent the $125 on a ticket what was included. Complaining about it after the fact comes off as really entitled.

This is how Tree House describes the fest: "A party to celebrate our new brewery, and share beers with those who have supported us so wonderfully since our inception." It's cool that there's a lot of people visiting Tree House for the first time, but to think that you/they should be catered to specifically because it's their first visit seems to be missing the whole point of why they're throwing the party.

And filling growlers for 250+ people would mean whoever is filling growlers (probably have to be Damian and Lauren) wouldn't be able to enjoy their own party.

If anyone with a ticket is complaining about Saturday, I'll gladly buy your ticket and high five the entire TH team in your place.

P.S. If anyone has a spare, I'll gladly buy it at $150 and throw in some OH cans

    To clarify:

I didn't mean the quality of the cans will diminish from Friday to Saturday. They will still be amazing. What I meant is with people making their way to the event at 1, they will most likely be trying to snag cans closer to the end of the window for can purchases so they don't have to wait for a few hours before the event itself, leaving the window open for the cans running out. But you know what, it's on me to get there as early as I need to on Saturday in order to make sure I get them. That's cool, I have no problem with that.

The growler thing is the part that kind of gets me. I understand that filling growlers is not a fast process, as I have waited at TH, and HF, and some other places for hours. It's just funny to me that people coming in on Friday can come home with 2L of the 3rd Anniversary DS, while event goers will get 5-8oz. I guess I just would have sold it to the public after the event.

But you know what guys, don't try to tell people who got tickets that they are lucky. Everyone had the same chance to get them online. It wasn't a secret. TH told you all the information well in advance. If you got caught up in hating on BA and missed out on it, complain to yourselves.

    Can't wait for the hate...

Oh the overwhelming sense of entitlement. You'll leave having tried a lot great beer AND have cans, FFS. The TH team is made up of plesnet hardworking people, not an army of beer dispensing robots.

Entitlement? I just said I didn't even expect growlers that day. I simply don't get why they would sell growlers of it for one day, before the actual anniversary.

Probably just because only a limited number of people would even get a chance to try it if it was stricly just at the event, and that by selling it at their brewery they just want to be able to share a great beer with a larger number of people. Is that really wrong? Some may get more of that specific beer than you may get to ty at the event, but I think overall youre going to get to try more and a greater range of great beers in total than anybody getting there Friday. Dont really think thats something to get worked up about.

I would imagine there's a bit of a balancing act between keeping the non-partygoing customers happy this week as well. I don't see why they wouldn't sell it if it's ready.

What a relief to see all this whining. With so few complaints about ticket sales I was afraid there would be not butt hurt at all for a beer festival. I'm pretty sure that's one of the signs of the apocalypse in revelations.
