Funny, I heard Green was your least favorite.

I'll be in Boston on the 19th and wanted to ask, what time do people start lining up on Thursdays? Or would it be better for me to show up on Friday? Any suggestions would be helpful for an out of towner!

Also, are there any "must visit" places that y'all would recommend? I'll be there from the 19th thur the 22nd. I plan on hitting up Treehouse, Trillium and Nightshift.

Fridays are generally a little less busy than thursdays. People line up early on thursdays, the line can easily be 50 deep by 3. It also depends on what is available.

Used to be, but like others have said, one batch can change your mind. I used to feel there was no bitterness which made it not taste like an IPA, now I appreciate that factor and have grown to like the complete opposite profile to Julius. What's really funny is how you remember people's personal beer preferences... Were you remembering a previous post or a trade or something?

Oops, nevermind, your profile pic has changed... Haha, yes I do remember, your favorite is haze... Still mine too. But yes, I have grown to like green quite a bit.

June 25th isn't all that far away. Wonder if we will be hearing some news soon.

Do people find Saturday mornings are the dwindling supplies from the weekdays, or are comparable stocks available?

Also how much earlier from opening time should one get there than a weekday? Never been, but will be in the area soon.

I have had mixed luck on a Saturday. Last time I went I was able to get 2 growlers each of Double Shot and Triple Shot plus 13 cans of Julius, Haze and Lights On, but I think compared to usual Saturdays lately that was unique (it was also literally negative degrees out). In the past I have gone on a Sat only to have the last of the cans run out after waiting in line for an hour.

Saturday can availability is very low to sold out. It's more of a day for Growlers/local and the occasional small batch release. As far as weekdays it depends on the offerings but I've gotten there on Wednesday at noon with only a small line 25-75 and it moves fast. for Thursday and Friday I would get there at least 1hr early if you want growlers. If there's a special/popular release be prepare to wait a few hours if you show up at 5

Yea as I was writing this out I remembered that the Saturday I went (Feb 13th) was during that one below 0 weekend we had this winter, which I am sure helped thin the crowd a bit.

I was the last person to not be let into the main lot and I had my dogs with me, some friendly folks held my spot in line and they let me move my car closer after the first folks cleared out so I could let the dogs take turns hanging out in line and warming up in the car.

Looks like it's a double canning day with Julius and That's What She Said available today.

Julius, TWSS, Haze and Lights On? Nice stuff. Big range of TH styles. If anyone was thinking of making their first ever trip, this might be the one considering the variety.

Did Tree House do anything different the week before (not the week of) their anniversary party last year?

Already have a trip planned for 6/15 to 6/19 in the MA and VT areas. We will be at Tree House on Wednesday (6/15) for cans and again on Friday (6/17) for cans and growlers. It would be disappointing if they had limited runs that week, but I would think the week of their anniversary party would be more likely to be altered (party is set for 6/25) than the week before.
