Wow this may be the worst news in the TH page in months. Glad the it was only 2pp then. I betta drink my last can this weekend. On a positive note VG from 4/17 is still rocking!

Literally just finished a can from that batch. As good as the one I had a month ago.

Drinking a DHH Sleeper and all I can think about is how good a TH beer featuring El Dorado would be...

Yo okay so this is exactly how I have felt about Haze in recent months. I don't take many trips to TH, so most of my experiences have been via trades/friends. I've consumed a few cans within 2-3 days of canning, and they've been delicious. Not quite as punchy or intensely peachy as Monson Haze, but very good nonetheless. But every can I've had that's more than a week old has been extremely muted in aroma and rather malt-forward (for a Tree House beer) in taste. Simply put, they taste dull, sweet, and a shell of the explosively flavorful Haze I fell in love with.

I'm aware similar experiences have been expressed here before, but I was very curious as to whether or not the discrepancy would translate to the imperialized Very Hazy. I've only ever had two cans of VH back in August 2016 (?), and at the time, it was the best hoppy beer I'd ever had. I thought about mustering up a trade for this release, but decided it best to wait on reviews. Early reports were that it was incredible, but I've heard a few people say the same thing you've said--that is, that it is falling off quickly, as I've found with Haze of late. Makes me wonder if there's a certain process or ingredient issues that is plaguing the Haze family.

Work out a trade in advance. Swap quickly in the lot. Sure some MW brews carry some stroke. Just make it worthwhile. Not only for Trade House but the rest of the NE goodies.

I feel like TH cans are super thin, its hard to explain. hold an empty can of another brand that has a logo laser etched into it, it will feel heavier. I kept complaining to my girl and friends that after a few weeks whatever beer I bought from TH wouldn't taste nearly as good and in fact I would dislike it after about 2-3 weeks. Julius and Haze were the biggest drop offs for me, green has been the only one that stays consistent for the most part in the can. Cans would be put into a cooler with ice and driven directly to a fridge, never warmed. It could be these cans causing that drop off, or something else entirely. but you're not alone with feeling like these things fall off way too fast. I've had cans of Trill/other half/tired hands that have been fine two months later.

Some folks on this forum actually like honest feedback- I don't dig your attempt at humor; it seems sad, lonely, and angry. Plus, skelator sucks!

I'm being honest, it's part of the reason I stopped going there because buying a case of their beer was setting myself up to be mad 2 weeks later..... I don't see where I was being sarcastic at all, your meter is off.

Right. Complaining about the weight of an empty can....just find more things to complain about....I find their pop-tops to be a bit stiff! And don't get me started on the tapered lip of the can. Amateur hour, Tree House. AMATEUR.

postage scales are nowhere near accurate for weed unless you're weighing ounces. get with the program.

They use lighter (thinner) cans so there's more room for the honeydew and grape flavors.

The beer is great! They keep doing more and more (both in quantity and styles). The brewery itself is a great place to spend some time (though for my kids I do miss going down the street to the farm in Monson). The staff is extremely personable and polite.

Despite this thread, I've never met someone in line who had anything negative to say. The vibe I get AT the brewery is the same as mine. "This line is long but this is the life we've chosen".

While I heard this is true, I also heard that Nate personally hand sands .4 oz of aluminum off every can on the line to get that perfect matte finish.

I said last week that I believe TH's strategy with the non-core highly coveted stuff (e.g. VH, VG, KJ, etc.) is to eventually have at least one of these available at any given time, but keep the limits intentionally low to spread out the supply and draw people in at the same time. Maybe this is the beginning of that - who knows. But, I personally don't think we'll ever get to the point where they are having case limits for this stuff. I know the counterpoint is with SSSappp most recently but I consider that to be in a separate class.

I was a beneficiary of a VH trade and I definitely feel for the people that ponied up a lot to get it. I was talking to someone about KJ recently and just encouraged them to be patient -- I bet we see that again soon, too.

I object to any attempts to drag this thread out of the gutter where it traditionally lives. So to that end...
Actually it's fallen off quite a bit since Monson. The honeydew and grape flavors are nowhere near as pronounced.
They're contributing to alcoholism by allowing people to buy five cases of beer at a time. Plus they keep giving us the same stuff we don't want instead of giving us cases of King JJJJulius and Very Hazy. And what's the deal with Good Morning, don't they realize that they owe us that?
You should keep your kids in line with you or else you are a family of degenerate line cutters. If they can't handle standing in line for 45 minutes then you should leave them home. Don't even get me started on how you are exposing them to life-threatening cold temperatures during the winter months.
They take so long talking to people that it makes the line take so much longer. Plus they take us for granted when they make offensive comments such as "see you tomorrow". That makes me feel like I'm just a walking ATM machine to them and they don't care about me as a person.
Then clearly you've never run into @themanfrombelmonty or else he would be very negative in calling you and your offspring out on your deplorable line cutting behavior.
