I think the lack of chatter related to Apricot Stonington has everything to do with the amount of other wilds they've been releasing recently, and the popularity of those wilds - AS might be their best sour as perceived by some, but many perceive the Soak and subsequent Super Soak series to be their best also. When you have Wild Mondays featuring Blackberry then Peach then Cranberry then Blueberry, and then slide in an Apricot Stonington, which has been released two times before (?), no surprise it gets lost in the shuffle. I missed Cranberry, damn, but no problemo, I'm now completely sold on Cellar Sunday, I'll just pick one up there. And yeah, combine this with the Trillium accessibility factor / perceived hype - I guess that means it's just that much easier to buy good beer. Welcome to the new normal where buying awesome beer doesn't mean driving an hour or two and waiting in line for another hour or two...

For all the hype/demand/craze caused by their collab/bottled stouts, I must say PM Dawn does not get the attention it deserves. The fact that cans stick around for 2+ weeks during prime stout season is amazing. Outside of Tree House's Shot series, I can't think of any non-BA coffee stouts that come close to offering such a pure, smooth, chocolatey, roasted coffee flavor on top of a thick, decadent base. Plus, it ages supremely well (had my last can from the September release last night.. for anyone who thinks it's too intense upon release, give it a couple weeks for the coffee to mellow a bit!).

Looks like Trillium is dropping a new beer today, Pom Pom Milk Stout. As much as I love Trill's IPAs, this is a very pleasant surprise.

Easy in and out today at Canton. Well, it would've been if I hadn't gotten a couple small pours.

I really enjoy the Pittsburgh Street. In my humble opinion, it's worth picking up a 4-pack.

Picked up a pack of Pom Pom on my way home from work tonight. Can’t wait to pour one of these tonight given the chilly winds out there.

Someone report back on Pom Pom and Pittsburgh Street.

They also posted some new artwork on their IG and tagged Omnipollo...interesting.

Also looks like the garden in Roslindale will be open by this weekend and JC probably won't be posting his note on collabs.

I thought Pittsburgh was very good. I do enjoy a few streets better.

Pittsburgh was surprising in that I found it was more ready to drink on day one than most of the streets (I'm in the "Trill ipa's need at least a week or two to mellow" camp).

back in the 22oz bottle days I remember enigma FPPA being one of my favorite variants. Looking forward to the Pitts. Props to Trill for showcasing enigma.

Trill's offering right now is absurd.

With the stout saturation this time of year, I'm sure OTL 2.0 can wait...

This current lineup at Trillium has got to be among the best/biggest/most diverse take home selections ever.

Damn it. I go yesterday for Pom Pom, and now they release a puppy beer?! Trillium must know my weakness for puppies...

Covered in Puppies is a beer that's begging to have merch with it. Come on, people. Puppies!
