I probably tried/brought home 12-15 Trillium beers last week while in Boston. Heavy Mettle stood out as my favorite. Great beer

Just an observation from tasting one can day of and one the following day. Wasn't meant to be anything more.

So, people came by and - stealing my favorite line from the witcher - drinking alone is as much fun as shitting in company, so I cracked open my bottle of DtD.

The 11.5% is present but not overpowering. I'd be curious what happens to it in six months but it's not such a bottle of fire that you can't enjoy it yet. I got the coffee right off the nose but it might have just been a particularly lucky bottle. It was a little oily, even for a RIS, which I could see turning a few folks off.

Overall, time well spent with a bottle worth sharing/drinking.

Per Twitter - "Mosaic Fort Point Pale Ale cans rolling off the line. Targeting 675 cases. Will be available at both breweries today at noon!"

Hopefully the rain keeps the soak release quiet

After enjoying Blackberry Soak on tap a few weeks ago, I need to get my butt down for bottles of Peach. Sours, hops, stouts, Trillium does a lot of things really, really well.

I think the fact that they haven't posted it anywhere on social media will probably keep it quieter than anything. Really hope it lasts until tonight, but based on their last couple "special" releases... who knows.

When was blackberry soak on tap? I haven't seen it since the bottle release months ago.

Sorry, it was raspberry soak, not blackberry. Second (I think?) weekend the tasting room was open in Canton.

Walked in and out of Canton for Raspberry soak at 12:15. Trillium wilds just don't bring out the hoards, good for us.

I intend to do a side-by-side with some friends - Peach Soak vs. Fuzzy. I suspect it will be closer than people anticipate.

Trillium's sour program is so underrated. Everything I've had has been world class. Some are pretty ugly looking, but taste great nonetheless.

It looks like you can still buy up to a case of Launch, and I really enjoyed my Launch cans at the beach this weekend. It is a really good pale ale that only suffers by comparison to the likes of Melcher or Congress. I would definitely pick up a few 4 packs along with my Mosaic FPPA and Peach Soak. Good Lord is Trillium going to be taking a lot of my money.

Damn my bus is at 2 so I was trying to just go in get my beers and come out... but that sour release! How long usually do I have to wait at Fort Point if there is a sour release?

Good to know. I was set to head there after work, but they were already gone. Must have just been a short case count.

I can't imagine it would be more than 30 minutes. Plenty of time to catch your bus, especially if it's leaving from South Station.

40 cases at 4pp on Peach Soak won't last very long at either location I'm guessing.

Good point, I screwed up trying to convert but last batch was (I think) seven barrels which would have been about 91 cases total, so very similar.

Line was in the shop at Fort Point around 1:15pm. Looks like Soak going quickly, based upon Trillium's recent tweet. Grabbed some Launch cans, looking forward to trying it.
