I'm all for letting the hops shine, but Scaled Way Up, my issue was more texture. If a pale ale is hop water, this seemed like it was on its way to being a hop puree.

Either way... doesn't matter, had Trillium.

I agree, and 10-20 is on the long end. Artaic released on a Friday. At 7p I got there and was behind literally 2 people. Easy.
I agree. I got quite a few off flavors and it didn't have the dank taste known for Trillium.
100% im the same way. I think my tongue is just hop-effed.

I wish they would make DDH Congress street full time.
This might be the best IPA I have ever had.

Man you guys were not kidding, in and out in Canton in 10 minutes on a Friday afternoon with a nice mixed assortment of bottles. Great spot, I'm jealous. :sunglasses:

Ddh melcher street is really thin and not so cloudy. Hope they're not slipping like last year.

Hatfield24 - not sure what beer your drinking, but it's certainly not the same one I picked up today. Dank, juicy, perfect mouthfeel, cloudy.

Curious, since it is illegal, how much is Trillium going for in SD?

Setting aside the fact that illegally selling Trillium on the other side of the country for a 200% markup is just gross, no 25 oz of pot and kettle is not worth $30.

I think Pot and Kettle is a fantastic beer but $30 dollars is just gross and it should be easy to acquire in a trade anyway.

Picked up a growler, debating waiting to share or consume now...hmmmm

It's good. Not too hoppy, very drinkable. I think I just crushed the 32 oz in about a half hour. If you're on a slower schedule and sitting on a growler, I think it would make a great Sunday afternoon beer.

Excited for the Permutation series. Seems like the one offs and pilot batches were (understandably) put on the back burner while they got the regulars set up in Canton. Glad to see some small batches back.

Anybody have a bottle of the current batch of Night and Day on them? What's the bottle date?

One of my absolute favorite beers but I let one sit for too long and I got way too much of that "green peppery" taste that can happen to coffee beers. I want to drink this one fresh again.

Current batch was bottled 4/27/16 and it's pretty man good.

My brother in law and I will be visiting in June... Should we visit Canton or Fort point? I know about the parking and sampling situation at the Boston location, but is the selection typically the same at both spots? I'd hate to miss something good bc we went to one location instead of the other...

Be sure to check this page if you're basing your decision solely on the selection at each location. It lists what's available in Fort Point and Canton: http://www.trilliumbrewing.com/#trillium-brewing-beer-list-section

It has been extremely rare that both locations would not be allocated at least some of any release. Based on an unscientific recollection of twitter posts, it seems as though Fort Point might be a bit more likely to run out of releases before Canton does on a given day, likely because they have much less storage space - they can get a reup from Canton, but might take a day for it to happen.

Anyone have any speculation on whether or not upper case drops this week?

I heard the rumors that Scaled Way Up was a mistake batch. But that beer is literally mind boggling. Please Trillium brew that beer again!
