DDH Melcher is as juicy as it gets, a great one.

Anyway, back to Trillium. Anybody had can tab issues still? Nothing major, but I've had a couple in the last weak snap off on me.

I'd estimate I've had about 20 cans at this point. No snap offs. Sometimes they don't open 100% all the way but instead about 70% of the way... which is not an issue to me. My buddy is a huge Trillium drinker and hasn't reported issues either.

Same thing happened to me with Pier cans. First time it's happened, but 2 out of 4 tabs snapped off.

I didn't get out for Headroom but my buddy did and has shared some with me. Out of the 4 cans opened in my presence only one has opened properly. Twice the tab snapped off without opening the mouth of the can whatsoever, and the fourth only partially broke the mouth seal. Neither I nor anyone I know has had this problem with any other Trill cans.

After having a fair amount of Trillium cans, the first being Hundred Thousand Trillion and the most recent, Headroom, I have yet to run into any problems with tabs snapping off or not opening properly. Could come down to the consumer and how they are opening their cans, either too much force or not enough, angle of the tab, etc.

I have had cans that open properly, and others that don't. It's not user error.

My general take on Trillium cans (better part of 2 or so cases bought late July and mid-August) is that the tabs generally do not open the cans all the way. Haven't had any fully snap off though (that I can recall).

No food truck or any grub available during the week right?

Hey everyone, visiting Boston (Fort Point location) next week and was wondering if it would be best to get there near closing time 6:30-7:00pm on Weds. night vs. 11am on Thursday morning as it relates to best selection? I didn't know if the selection was based per week or per day? Thanks!

Selection is generally the same, but since they can in Canton and then transport the cans to Fort Point, the Fort Point location may get fewer cans on the first day. Probably not an issue unless something special is released. If you are already staying new Fort Point, I'd check their website/Twitter and head over there unless you see something you really want that's only at Canton.

Impossible to say for sure, as there is always the chance something could run out at the end of the day on Wed, but odds are better that whatever is there at 6:30 on Wed will still be there at 11 on Thurs, plus a chance of something new or restocked to start the day.

Hi there. I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on this: What do you think is more likely:
Option 1: Some slight flaw in the mobile canning operation at Trillium is leading to faulty can tabs on a limited number of Trill cans.
    -OR-
Option 2: Me, a 31 year old lawyer, and my buddy, a 32 year old computer engineer, don't know how to use an aluminum can properly.

    Thank you in advance.

Based on my experiences with 32 year old computer engineers I would choose option 2.

I bought a mixed case a few weeks ago. I think my wife and I each opened about half, so like twelve each. I broke either 4 or 5 tabs and she broke none. So while a canning flaw is definitely part of the problem, we barbarians who are unable to properly open cans do exist.

The new hours are amazing. Went over to Fort Point at Noon. There was one other customer.

I've never had an issue and I've probably had half a dozen cases of cans. Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket?

Listen, I don't mean to brag, but I have opened literally thousands of cans in my lifetime*. Never once have I had the tab pop off without opening the can like happened with headroom.

I didn't think pointing out a minuscule flaw in a few of Trill's cans would be son controversial, but if yall want to assume it is user error then I won't waste any more time trying to convince you otherwise.

*this is sarcasm, I am not actually bragging about this. Apparently I need to spell this out...
