Simply stating that it wasn't his "first attempt". People need to respect these up and comers. The MN beer scene is awesome.

Cases of BCBS and Rare appearing in Rochester area. They go quick, bu new stock is showing up. Figured it was worth a heads up that you may run across some. Rare was still $60 and was just placed on the shelf in the box.

I think they only had 1 barrel to age and they got 1 keg from it that is on at their taproom and whatever left over was bottled so very low bottle count.

Very low bottle count on the 4 Roses Barrel RIS (Yes, it was just one barrel). $15.99 plus tax, yes it ended up $17.50 after tax.
We limited 2 per customer at Shorewood, because of the small yield. Should have done 1 per, but we wanted people to be able to age it as well. We had 8 cases total FYI.

If anyone is interested, Shorewood Liquor is getting Lupulin's latest bottle release of their Simcoe Imperial Stout that was released on Saturday. If you didn't make it to the release, and want a bottle, we are getting a case tonight.

Lupulin's Simcoe Imperial Stout is also available in bottles at Rum River in Ramsey and Elevated BWS according to Twitter.

I haven't had this one, but I did really enjoy Lupulin Beyond Black, which was an amped up version of their regular stout and dry hopped with Simcoe. It reminded me a bit of a slightly lighter version of Darkness with its resinous hoppy stout characteristics. I imagine that this bottled version is probably a similar recipe, but I can't say that for sure.
