This may have already been noted, but Todd The Axe Man used to be noted as an "occasional beer" and is now listed as a "year round beer." I wonder if this means year round canning.

FYI, I just had my last bottle yesterday. bottled 3/11/15 it was staring to turn sour assuming from the "milk" portion. It was still good but not like fresh.

Milk sours because it contains lactobacillus. A milk stout does not. Even if it is infected, an imperial stout is way too bitter for the bacteria to be active. I'm guessing your bottles are a little oxidized.

Now that I think about it you are probably right. Oh well, the other two I had were amazing!

heard that abrasive and Todd are now going to be year round options, switching off one another back and forth every couple months. But I can't wait for normally available Todd

I've heard from a couple people in the industry that there has been a huge increase in the production of citra hops. I wonder if this is the reason that Surly seems to be thinking about making todd and abrasive year around as well as making the xtra citra pale ale.

This is great news, if true, can we also get a massive increase in mosaic as well?
