    Still some DM Smores at Hudson Liquor and Luckys Exit 4. Both stores, Spirit Seller and Casanovas still have Hopstar.

    I can't recall it being mentioned - The Bruery Melange #3 at Apple Valley #3, $28/pop. Even at that price point, one of my favorite stouts in the world.

    Any Smores Dragons Milk floating around south Metro still?? Central Iowa only got 15 cases and it went very quick....

    I was scouting around for a selection of (more or less) local American Pale Ales for an informal tasting. I've checked my usual 2 liquor stores, and the freshest canned (Florida) pseudoSue I could find is dated 5/31.

    (FL 'Sue... I suppose it is "more or less" local, right?? :astonished:)

    Anyway, anyone know of any fresher canned 'Sue in the F44 and points south area?

    The motivation of the tasting is the new Rising North from Surly.

    Besides 'Sue and Rising North, any other suggestions? (4 beers max.)

    I'm a fan of Fair State's Pahlay-Alhay. You could also hop the border and grab some NG Moon Man if you can find it fresh.

    ng raspberry tart hitting in wisconsin. 12oz bottles. hopsmack and xhops teal still readily available at the nova. hudson liquor still has some dragons milk smores, if you are looking.

    Picked up a sixer of Logical Choice, a 3X IPA collaboration between Alesmith & Pizza Port, in the big city of St. Paul last night.

    I hope this is in the same league as the widely varying IPAs Pizza Port serves in their California brewpubs. For my money, the best IPA brewer in the country.

    Dreamyard canned today at south lyndale. Drinking one now. Huge hoppy nose, much more vegetal and drier than usual. More dark gold in color and incredibly opaque. Hardly recognize it as dreamyard. Different, but still very good. Worth seeking out if you're curious.
