Yes, CBS will be hitting the Twin Cities here soon, in fact Friday at some store(s).

Sold out there too. 32 bottles, 45 minutes.

Boy, this bottle-chasing game sure is a fucking pleasure.

Do people chase Abraxas because they like it or because of the hype? I had it on tap last year and it was like doing the cinnamon challenge. I'm not knocking those that like it, but for me it doesn't live up to the hype.

Those cool things will be at Scott’s tomorrow. Except CBS which will be soon.

Sounds like you need to cash out your 401k and quit your job and become a full time craft beer hunter!

Speaking personally, because Abraxas is fucking awesome. I'm not going to try to chase it because I'm too slow nowadays, but if I stumble across it, I'll buy whatever I can.

For those that may not know, Rum Barrel & Tequila Barrel, as well as the 2017 Abyss / Regular. Really looking forward to these. The Scotch last year was great, & the other two were really good as well.

Idk, never tried a tequila BA beer I enjoyed. Just doesn't do it for me. The rum one, I'll take!

PSA from my own personal opinion: avoid the Rum BA Abyss at all costs. This is speaking as someone that really enjoys regular abyss and has very much enjoyed most of the variants they have put out. Drain-poured it, unfortunately.

Good to know. For 26$ I was a bit leery on both without getting some opinions first.

I love Abraxas. I've only had it on tap the once (two pours at the always-overpriced Tamarack Taproom) - everything else has been bottles, and it's fantastic. I'd drink it every day if I could. It kills me that it flies from shelves so quickly - because everyone uses it as trade fodder. I just want to drink it! Or, you know - shoot it straight in to my veins.

I like Abraxas because it tastes like malted milk balls and makes me drunk.

I should give it another try. I have heard of other beers with large variation in the amount of cinnamon. Maybe I just got the unlucky cinnamon dregs pour.

Figured that would have been long gone... unless they held some back for today.
