Do they have restrictions on what types of growlers they will fill? I've been planning to visit these guys one of the next times I'm back visiting my parents.

they fill other brewery branded growlers, both flip top and screw top, and even the non conventional wide mouth / insulated ones as well (assuming they are standard 32/64 oz sizes)

Sweet, I have one of the really nice insulated growlers but the two breweries I go to in the city won't fill them which sucks.

Is one of them other half? I know other half using co2 counter pressure or something to fill their growlers, which mean people can crack them in 1-3 weeks and they're still carbed.

Twin elephant does a regular fill from the bottom with a tube. The upside is there is very little limit on the type of 32 or 64oz growlers they fill, the down side is you're going to want to drink that growler relatively quickly.

hop blend on those two new beers sounds great... Scantron... man I hated those fill in the oval test sheets.... now they need to name a beer No.2 Pencil... among the best they have produced is a bold statement... if it holds up they could be very solid. Look fwd to tasting...

Dennis, you're right. The Waiting is quite nice. Seriously dangerous at 7.1% too. Goes down easy.

Generally speaking I'm not a huge saison fan, but I have liked quite a few of theirs. May have to swing by for a growler of 4 minute mile and a taste of the waiting tomorrow.

treid both Scantron and Four minute Mile and both were solid, but I gave the edge to Scantron... lots of flavor and complexity for a 5.5% pale ale. I suspectFour Minute will flesh out nicely though in a week and be even better. I found the same with Wepeel for example..

As it continues to get colder outside we got some bigger beers and some darker beers dropping to help warm you up starting this weekend. Thursday night kicks us off with plenty of growlers and a fresh batch of the slammable Light American Ale "Chuck's Garage". On Friday we have two different versions of our Imperial Stout "Deserted Village" hitting the taps. The first is 10.4% ABV and incorporates J. Emanuel chocolate, Bourbon Barrel Aged Colombian Coffee, & American Oak Spirals. The second is 9.2% ABV and was barrel aged for 3 months in a freshly emptied 9 year aged Four Roses barrel and then was conditioned a heaping amount of Madagascar Vanilla beans and Peruvian Criollo Cacao Nibs. Both beers are rich decadent and delicious so don't miss out. Finally we have a new 5.8% ABVPale Ale dropping Saturday called "Da Brick Da Brick" that was DDH with Idaho 7, Mosiac, Belma & Citra.

This weekend we are still rocking Round 2 or our bi-monthly taproom musical playlists on Spotify. This one has an early emo vibe to it and can be found here http://bit.ly/TEB-10-12-17.

Our good friends the Empanada Guy will be here this Friday and should be a consistent staple on Fridays for the next couple months.

    BARREL AGED STOUT HYPE

Also, note that Wepeel and Rugged Snuggle are both beers that they recently registered labels for. While, I am not expecting it, would be pretty dope if they had a can drop within the next month.

Whoa. Dont' know if I've ever had BBA coffee before. I'm usually not a big fan of BBA beers, but will definitely be giving that a shot. Hopefully (for me) the bourbon is mellow.
