From the Two Brothers facebook page:
"Red Eye Porter is the first of our 15 archive recipes we will brew to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Red Eye debuted in the Spring of 2009 and quickly won acclaim from the public and press alike. We brewed it a second time, which was the last time we made it, in the fall of 2009. Since then it has easily become the most requested beer for us to bring back (like almost every day). So, we hope you enjoy the start of our fun 2012 project. Stay tuned for more information regarding its release on March 27."

My hope is that Red Eye becomes an annual thing. I've had a couple bottles that had aged on shelves and the coffee was 100% gone, so forget about stocking up on this to age. In my super duper humble opinion, of course.

..If Chicago area beer enthusiasts on this site can agree on anything, it's that this beer is welcomed back several times over..

I'm just glad they didn't wait to make this the 11th or 12th beer. Now for Oh Brother!

Good news. Maybe Heavier Handed will return in non Jeroboam size. Hopefully Moaten doesn't return

So it's March 27th and I will be near the brewery this afternoon. Any word on if this is set to release today? Would love to pick some up. No new news on facebook about it. It would be the icing on the cake for my birthday today.

Has 2 Brothers ever distributed a beer that was hard to get? Doesn't seem to be their style.

Askew was the only beer that even came close to "hard to get". But, hard to get = sat on shelves for 1-2 weeks.

Yeah, I picked up Askew in like August or September. 3 or 4 months after it came out.

Is this a brewery only release? Or will it be hitting shelves. It sounds lovely
