I want to take a few moments to acknowledge a couple great BA's. 1.MikeM40 I traded with mike 2x last year for IST and some other NEBCO if I believe and was a super good dude and shipped quick. After those two boxes we didnt trade. I get a conversation sent asking if I was trading for IST 2012. I said no, I had some boxes to get out and when that was over I was pulling back from trading with a baby on the way. He said no problem. Week later I get a conversation from him. UPS XXXXXXXXXXXXX I had to drop of a box at UPS so sending you a beer for the birth of your son! 2012 IST. Said, "No one should go a whole year w/o IST" I cracked that thing at my sons baby shower! THANKS MIKE!!!! 2. Mjtiernan Matt and I did a few trades in the past and then we just on the twitter train and chat it up with a few other BA's and they can attest to Matt's awesomeness. We did one of my last trades for Leblue for Alpine the other day and I get a tweet asking if I have a Ithaca tulip. I simply said No. Week later there is a box from USPS sitting on my table and I have no idea why because I didnt buy anything. I look at the label, its from Ithaca and to me, but I didnt buy anything. Open the box, 2 Ithaca tulips. I want to thank you both sincerely. They are/were wonderful gifts and I thank you for the kindness. Cheers!
Things like this are why I like trading so much. You get a chance to make someone's day every now and again.
Agreed. I posted an ISO a case of zombie dust. Woodchopper was the first response I got, and we agreed to throw in some extras. The guy sent me a whole freaking mix case of extras (including dbl crooked tree, bbpt5). Seriously blew me away. There are some truly awesome BAs out there who spread the love, and make trading fun.
Well good Sir your box was AWESOME too And when I was shopping for a few of those beers there was all that room in the cart ...... :-) I have to learn to find smaller boxes to ship with I always fill the box no sense sending a 1/2 empty box I really enjoy seeing some positive threads like this hopefully more often too.
