Purchased and drank a mini-keg of this a couple weeks ago. The keg is still sitting around, and I noticed the other day that the label that says "2012" or something like that was just pasted on, with "2011" underneath it. Anyone know what this is about? It sure didn't taste like it was a year old. I've had a lot of two-hearted, and it didn't quite taste as good as in the bottle, a little thin tasting honestly. It was also dated early August of this year.
Actually, my understanding is that they never produced mini kegs last year. Around the fall time when they usually come out, they were having serious issues with keeping up with demand for 2 hearted. My guess is they had already had the cans printed (since I had the current design set as my background a year and a half ago), and since they were unable to fill them, held onto them for this year and ran off some stickers to fix the issue.
Same thing with my keg I had this saturday but I didn't think anything of it because no way would Bell's be that shady.
I've picked up a couple, one was $21.99, the other $19.99. Both kegs had the 2012 sticker over the original 2011 print
