    Working Sat-Wednesday means this my weekend & having early morning errands wasn't welcomed
    however it did take me past Asdsa & the big B&Ms
    nothing in BMs but Asda had Arkell's Moonlight on special price

    got home had bacon, sausage & spam on a brioche burger bun & cracked open the Moonlight
    (putting a dash in the stewpot)
    A real treat a specific bitter that's actually good bottled
    quite rare now IMHO

    and hopefully be able to grab a nap as well.

    Normally work Sat & Sun have Sunday off so only in Sat then back in work on Tuesday
    lets get some beer ... checks bank balance......

    hhmmmm not a lot

    Oh well using my sorcerer's ways I see good beer fortune coming my way

    shows on here as a Pilsner
    qualities affirm right beer
    had worse I guess had better though
    especially Munich Helles :/

    A trip out for a steak and much ale was called for so off we went to the Three *****shoes over Leamside

    On offer were

    Leamside Brockwell
    N00by Wyke Banquo
    Mallinsons Citra
    Taylor's Landlord

    Well it'd be rude not to have one of each.

    Absolutely love Mallinsons in bottle, bd'd tasty & always cheapest option in spec beers shops (often good ones too)
    only had cask one, didn't thrill me to much but think it was on way out

    After a couple of hours getting my son to do his homework
    I absolutely positively need another beer

    Bills Beer brewed for Bill McLaren's birthday, not much flavour in there
    when it comes to rugby references
    this is more odd shaped balls than cunning as a bag of weasels

    Not working tomorrow morning as I'm going to a funeral, though having to work in the afternoon, so had a couple of Duvels and 4 Sadlers Mud City Stouts.

    Also myself and Mrs. Kozel Have booked up for 4 days in Brussels in mid October...cannae wait :slight_smile:

    Just home from 'Spoons, had Theakstons Old Peculiar, Strathaven IPA, Latitude Pilsner, Adnams Broadside, Sixpoint Sweet Action and Sixpoint Bengali Tiger. Got a wee selection from Tesco to get through now.:slight_smile:

    Not too bad to be honest.
    Orkney Raven Ale, Orkney Dark Island, Black Isle Blonde, Black Isle Red Kite Ale and a couple of Duvels reduced to £1.45 a bottle. Had 3 so far and still pretty mellow.

    That is a fantastic Tesco shop
    my local has as it's best Pedigree New World (surprisingly good)
    Goff''s Charger, not properly balanced but okay
    finest DIPA&Porter
    & Conniston's Bluebird Bitter
    Wish mine had Orkney choices, they had the blonde once.

    It's actually a Tesco Metro as I live in a small town, but they do have a great beer and wine selection...it's Scotland, we like a drink up here.:slight_smile:
    Was at the football today and my mate was saying he was going to Prague later on in the year, was a wee bit jealous, but remembered that I'm going to Belgium in 5 weeks...happy days.
    C'mon the beer.
