    Go get you some....

I've had the Sovereign before as well and didn't think it was great - not bad but nothing special. Perhaps the Marynka bottle was getting on a bit....

    Now on Tetley's Trust porter.

I had the Marynka as soon as it was in store , the Sovereign like you said not bad nothing special
but at 99p a good utility beer

I thought the Trust Porter though was ghastly, a real slur on our servicemen.

Currently on the new Shep Neame IPA - not bad but doesn't compare to better examples of the style.

Kicked off with a Whoregarden, and now Bellerose from Brasserie des Sources (France). It's quite nice - haven't had that many different French beers.....

    Where's the dislike button?

    gurgling in my tummy
I forgot how the nitro beers upset my stomach
look it was 50p and about four times what it should have cost.

Right something more like an actual beer.

Nothing more refreshing on a hot summer day than home brewed ginger ale, made with.apple juice and not too much ginger.

Buxton Axe Edge. On cask at one of my locals. Three pints this lunch, four pint carryout for tonight. Three pounds a pint. 2.80 with Camra discount. For the best cask IPA in the UK.

    I am a happy camper.

It's good. But it's not Axe Edge. Axe Edge at the pub down the road with takeout.

Isn't it great to find a beer & fall in love with it?!

What I love about Fyne beer is finding one I love and drinking the arse out of the cask. Happens rarely down here. But it's a day of days when it occurs.

Arbor Ales' Down Deeperer - this is insanely boozy. Good thing I don't have to work tomorrow....

Could the rarity of the event be due to you not remembering anything afterwards? :grinning:

I am so spoilt having Fyne in the local pubs all the time. Makes me a bit indifferent to most of the great beer coming up from down south. Only the best of it is better than what I’m used to getting from 40km up the road.

Ironically enough Superior IPA is one of the very few I’m not fussed about. Too heavy, too resiny.

Had these last night. Amarillo & Orange Saison is amazing. Cucumber & Juniper, very good once I started to get used to it.
