    Last beer was nice in a dull sort of way
    say will follow suite with a bottle of Jenning's Cumberland
    and continue the build up to the (hopefully) wow! beer of the night, which I think I will have next.

    Wow, this thing is just... wow. Definitely different. Nice to have a sort of herbal taste that differs from the usual Christmas beer "we've just stuck mulling spice in this bitter".

    Spice in Bitter does not work with flavouring
    a good spiced ale though, usually a bit boozy.
    Talking of think I'll have last years Wincle Wassale for this Christmas.

    Celt Ogham Ash. A fancy looking bottle with a 10.5% "Russian Imperial Porter" inside. So yeah, it's a Russian Imperial Stout.

    The last beer of a similar nature I had to this was BD's Libertine which I fucking hated

    All that is gone now, superb beer, great blend of flavours

    Un-Human Cannonball. It's nice but, as has already been stated, not great. Like a boozier Human Cannonball with no noticeable increase in hop presence.

    Oh well.

    Right. Cleared the shelf but left a single bottle as some of offering to beer karma. Ended up getting the BB dated 30/10/13 Torpedo which is noticeably maltier and less hoppy than the 19/11/13 which Tesco more recently carried. Watch out folks.

    Okay but once again without cask its just doesn't have that proper mild taste.
