upon further reading, i got 1 SR 3 and 1 Malefactor....

 

both my wife and i struck out. oh well at least i still have my guaranteed bottle of SR3.

 

Something something lotteries aren't fair and are rigged, they should do a better release, reward the people that actually buy your beer, make more of the beer, this is bullshit, something something.

 

So I got a winning email. I'm confused about something though. It says I need a photocopy of my ID and the printed off email announcing me as the winner. Nowhere in the email does it announce my name as the winner. I assume if I just print off the email though that will suffice.

 

Each email is tied to the name used in the registration for the lottery. They will likely need to match when you pick up.

 

Awesome. Girlfriend and I both won Malefactor. Skipped entry for SR3 since we were fortunate enough to have all we could drink for 3 hours at the Sour Wild Funk fest earlier this year.

I'll be making the trip from Chicago (the Indy, not Bloomington). I don't mind muling. Bm me

Ahh, I just noticed at the bottom of the email it says "This email was sent to XXXXXXXX". I didn't notice that before so I'm sure they will tie that to my name.

A friend of mine is in the same boat. Received confirmation on the submission but not if they were confirmed/declined.

 

Classy move by Upland emailing everyone. I didn't win on my entry, but hopefully I can snag a lambic the next time around. No Indy trip for me. Looks like I'll have to try trading for some Grapefruit Jungle from the Sun King Anniversary Party.

0 for 3. It's funny, last year I ended up with 3 blackberry, 3 raspberry, and 2 SR but I didn't care that much because I found the lambics, especially SR, too acidic. After just trying the SR and Raspberry in a blind tasting next to some serious whalezzzzzzz this past weekend, I'm a little disappointed I missed out. The Uplands really held their own against some though Uli, Cantillon, and 3F competition. I'm not sure if it was a change in my taste or the extra year on them.

I am in the same boat--my wife got her email (didnt win), my friend got his email (won), but I havent gotten anything via email

 

I chose Indy, since I have family that live in the Indy area. I plan to shoot them an email to see if they'll help me out since I'll be seeing them in Chitown in August anyway.
